It comes as no surprise to us that the handsome actor, Ashish Sharma and his choreographer, Shampa won Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season seven. This is Shampa's second win on Jhalak. She first won with talented actor, Gurmeet Choudhary. Ashish has given brilliant performances from the very start and has always received positive comments from the judges. The popular Rang Rasiya actor was never in bottom two, thanks to his scores and fans who poured in their votes for him.
Ashish's journey on Jhalak has not been without struggles, but the actor did not complain once. He was juggling in between two shows; Rang Rasiya and Jhalak. They both had very demanding schedules. He never used his neck or back pain as an excuse, which is very commendable.
Many ex-contestants like Tara Jean Popowich, Sophie Choudhary and others believed that Ashish was the most deserving winner. Ashish went from a complete non-dancer to an amazingly brilliant dancer. He is one of the few contestants who has tried different types of dances in each of his performances. He has tried everything from drama, romance, patriotic, tragedy on stage. Ashish's co-star, Sanaya Irani was present during his first performance and had declared him a finalist after seeing his performance as did many viewers.
