I don't know how others feel, but I am quite glad that the show might be coming to an end.
Instead of just being on air for the sake of it, I would rather they bring an end to the show. I'll give you my reasons for it too.
Lately and I mean since quite a few months (even when Rey was still around), the characters have been becoming bipolar, storyline is boring and has started feeling repetitive. For example:
Rey had become so impulsive lately, whereas it was shown that he'd started starting thinking rationally and logically over time.
Kriya not trusting Rey by not telling him about the modelling/acting offer.
Swayam getting irritated at Sharon whereas he is supposed to be the most calm, logical and understanding person. The hot and cold relationship was also quite confusing between him and Sharon. They were fighting at the stupidest things.
Sharon's mom track started but was left hanging in between.
And all the other friends have become Primary School kids, because whenever they are shown, they're fighting and screaming at each other. It's almost like oh the friend gang has been seen in four days so lets put one scene in where they're just doing nothing.
The introduction of the new cast didn't make any great impact either. The tracks are sloppily written and the acting is very raw. Agreed that when D3 started the others were also raw but now the difference can be clearly seen.
There really isn't a need to have a show running for 1000s of episode and have people bored of it or just end up watching it because your favourites are in it even though one is clearly not liking the story in it.
I don't know how others feel but just thought of writing this and see others opinion in this regard.
