When did this Ranbir Kapoor HYPING begin

And now he is being compared to senior actors who have been in the industry longer and carved an image for themselves.

He ain't the only one to have had box office hits. His last movie flopped. He won't be releasing films till 2015.

He's repeatedly working with Deepika, which is getting Repetative. What is this? The 5th film they have done together. . Both riding off on their past relationship scandal. They are the new age Rekha/Amitabh, SRK/Kajol that people latch on to.

is it a rule that a hero can't act with another heroine for more than 2 movies , they both have sorted their past issues if people compare them to Srk n kajol thats gud

I wouldn't be surprised if they are both in cahoots because they know their past is scandalous and keeps them relevant and people keep talking about them. Good hype for their movies. So these stupid articles are released dropping hints that people will lap up. Directors know this too.

every actor hype their movie they r not the only one n about every actor or actress articles come so don't point finger only on them

Also there is truth to what some say. Whilst Ranbir is a decent actor he's not suited for every role. Just like Woody Allen in his prime was not suited for every role. He has not done films like Bang Bang because action just ain't his forte. He has not been asked often to do period films wielding an axe, ready for battle because that's not his forte. I would like to be proven wrong but Ranbir appears to have a comfort zone.

Ranbir is a superb actor he may not be suited for every role but atleast he tries diff roles n he has never been offered period or action film not his fault. Every actor has a comfort zone

His films are more romantic comedies and dramas to a lesser extent. His roles also overlap. In Besharam he plays a thief and in ROY though a different genre also a thief. Also the man-child theme is used often. . He can't play a fresh out of college student forever.

Barfi was not a romantic comedy n he is not even playing out of coll guy anymore also

Is he hyped because he is the last relevant Kapoor in Bollywood and a lot of people's hopes and aspirations are pinned on him succeeding. All so the film family won't die out.

Ranbirs movie choices has not been to everyone's taste. The roles he has done has not been to everyone's taste.

I think the HYPE started when Deepika accused him of cheating on her...That was when the media focused all of their attention on him...It wasn't because of the KAPOOR surname as Ranbir's own cousin is not in the limelight at all..before the whole cheating saga, Ranbir was looked at as an innocent guy and no one cared for his and Deepika's love story..but the minute the break up and cheating rumours came, the media made his life miserable 😆
