14.Vengeance Vanquishes Love.
He turned around, hoping this would help him sleep, but to no avail. He shut his eyes for the 10th time forcing himself to sleep , though it did not work either.
Irritated, he rose from his bed and walked towards the window, standing there, staring at the night sky. He gently shut his eyes, wanting to feel her presence desperately- he had been missing her way too much than he had expected. He licked his lower lip, as though trying to refresh her feel on it, the touch of her lips on his, was the most blissful feeling he had ever felt- it made him feel at peace, it made him feel loved, it made him feel wanted.
But, unfortunately, it had been more than 72 hours, ever since he had felt her. 72 hours! He sighed.
He just was unable to understand how would he manage to survive once she left for London. The thought of her not being around was already making him feel restless, when she actually left, he would probably slip into depression and insomnia!
Ever since he had returned from Mumbai, sleep seemed to be at war with him. Everytime he shut his eyes her beautiful face flashed in front of him.
He missed her when he lay on the bed, he craved for her touch every second of the day...
It had been 3 days since he had seen her, she had not been coming to office after returning from Mumbai, thanks to Ankit's engagement preparations, which were to take place tomorrow.
Yes tomorrow, finally he would get to see her! A smiled appeared on his face at the thought of meeting her aftr 3 long days!
Though the smile soon vanished, as it hit him like a bolt of lightening- she was to leave for London in another 4 days. And if he was to go by Kabir's plan, basically tomorrow would be the last day for them to be "together."
His heart began to sink, as he realised, tomorrow, not only would he be hurting her, but he would be killing a part of himself too- that part,
which Sanyukta's love and warmth had aroused after years.
The thought of not having her around, of not being greeted with that beautiful smile, of not being able to feel her lips, were making him feel giddy, his heart was already aching.
No matter how desperately he wanted to be with her, but he couldnt, his haunting past would never let him.
His ego, will, determination, and desperation to seek revenge were far more stronger than his love. Or atleast that is what he felt. The lion cannot fall in love with the lamb!
"Soya nahi tu abhi tak?" Kabir who had come to check on Randhir, was surprised to see his brother wide awake.
"Nahi...woh..." Randhir fumbled with words. He did not want his brother to know the various kinds of emotions he was undergoing.
"Randhir...stop thinkin about sanyukta. Dont forget woh ussi insaan ka khoon hai jisne tere maa baap ko tujhse cheena tha...kabhi na kabhi toh woh apna rang dikhaegi!"
Kabir sat beside randhir, trying to bring his brother back on track.
Randhir shut his eyes on hearing those words- Kabir was right. When her father could play such dirty games, why would she be any different?
Their 2 months long physical relation was no basis for him to feel guilty,
for all he knew, she may be just playing around with him. Though his heart immediately chided him for thinkin like dat, he just smiled at kabir,
"V wil make him pay for each and Every wound he gave us..."

He entered the beautifully decorated hall, the black tuxedo on the dark purple shirt, along with a pair of black jeans, was making him look
perfect.
"Randhir!!!" An excited Vidhushi greeted him, hugging him sideways, though Randhir was not really interested in even looking at her,
all he wanted, was to see her- Sanyukta.
"Randhir beta!" Mr.Agarwal, and Mrs.Agarwal, were more than happy to see him, Why wouldn't they be? He smirked.
"Oh my Randhir! I have heard soo much about u! So glad to finally meet u!" Mrs.Agarwal, touched his cheek.
"Nice meeting u too..." Randhir faked a smile.
"Mr.Agarwal, I was looking forward to meet Sanyukta.Kuch baat karni thi usse...where is she?" Vardhan asked Mrs.Agarwal, while his eyes searched for Sanyukta in the entire hall.
"Hogi kahi Vardhan...Waise bhi, woh ho yaa na ho kya farak padhta hai?" Mrs.Agarwal laughed, and so did Vidhushi, makin Randhir clench
his fists, as though he was the one being insulted.
"On a serious note, woh apne room main hogi..." Vidhushi informed Vardhan.
Randhir, having discovered Sanyukta's location, immediately excused himself- He wanted to meet her ASAP. He wanted to kiss her for one last time, he wanted to feel her for one last time...

"Shit! Ab main kya karoo?" Sanyukta, who had been struggling with the dori of her backless blouse, sat on the bed in irritation.
How the hell was she suppose to go out of the room with her blouse half open?! She had to change her outfit before it was too late. She walked towards the cupboard, and opened it, when suddenly she felt a strong pair of hands grip her waist.
"Randhir..." She did not have to turn around even, to guess who it was - So familiar she was with his touch.
"Hmmm.." He nuzzled her neck. Sanyukta smiled as she felt him do that, how badly she had missed him! She wondered whether it would be possible for her to survive without him in London! And if he was going to bid her adieu with so much of physical love, she really would have to rethink over her decision!
"I missed u Sanyukta..." He twirled her around, and pulled her close, feeling her heaving body against his chest, while his hands made their way to her open dori.
"I missed you too..." Sanyukta, who was pleasantly surprised at his confession, wrapped her hands around his neck, her eyes stuck on his lips.
"I missed u soo much..." Randhir's hands, sensously caressed her bare back, making Sanyukta shut her eyes in pleasure, his touch was
making her go crazy. Randhir just stared at her face, knwoing she was enjoying it. He was sure she did not want him to stop, and so,
he did not. His hands trailed over her back bone, going all the way down to her hip, and he began undrapping the sari.
His lips just curved into a smile on seeing Sanyukta's breath getting heavier, her hands tightened their grip around his collar.
Not able to control any longer, he smacked his lips on hers, pulling her closer, with no space left in between them.
His lips sucked her lower lip, biting them in pleasure, while Sanyukta struggled to keep up with his desire and passion. There
was something completely different in his touch today- it was urgent, desperate, and longing.
She sucked his upper lip, trying to keep with the pace, while Randhir, bit her lower lip, his tongue aggressively entering into her parted lips, playing havoc inside her mouth. Sanyukta could feel his burning passion and desire, which was turning her on even more, though at the moment, she was completely out of breath. She placed one hand of hers on his chest, trying to push him away, for she was breathless, but Randhir was not willing to let go - as though she would run away from him.
Completely surprised at his behavior, Sanyukta tried to calm him down, by removing his hands from her waist, and entwining her fingers into his, attempting to convey it to him, that she was breathless.
On feeling her move his hands away, Randhir immediately let go off her lips, heaving.
"M sorry..." He hugged her, burying his face in her neck, his hands, tied the dori.
"I enjoyed it Randhir..." Sanyukta clutched his hair in satisfaction, though she was yet unable to understand the meaning of Randhir's
touch today. Her brain told her, it was just his way of conveying it to her that she would be missed once she left, though her heart was sure, there was much much more.
"V should get going.." Sanyukta broke the hug, their absence from the ceremony would raise questions.
Though if she had to go by Randhir's expression, she was certain, he did not want to get out of the room at all, and was willing to stay
with her in this room forever, as if a nightmare awaited him outside.
"Chaloo Randhir..." She dragged him outside the room...

"And now Ladies and Gentlemen, On this occassion, there is yet another important announcement I have to make- My pretty daughterVidhushi Agarwal, has found her life partner too! Yes! Aur hum uski pasand se, behad khush hai! Toh, aaj se theek ek mahine baad, Hum uski bhi engagement kar denge, Randhir Singh Shekawat k saath!!" The entire hall roared in a loud applause, Vidhushi happily stared at Randhir, Kabir had a victorious smile plastered on his face and Parth glared at Randhir, while Randhir's eyes were stuck on Sanyukta, who had a fake smile plastered on her face, though he knew her to well to believe her facade.
He could see the tears her eyes were controlling, he could feel the pain she was feeling. For a moment, their eyes met, though she immediately looked away, scared, he might just read her emotions. She walked towards her room, her head was beginning to feel giddy.
Randhir stared at her retreating back, he felt this sudden pain in his head- he had hurt her. Inspite of not wanting to hurt her, he
had. He knew he had murdered that tiny ray of hope in her, of them being together.
"M soo lucky to have u as my son-in-law beta!" Mr.Agarwal, broke Randhir's chain of thoughts, and hugged him, and that was when
Randhir realised, he was not here to fall in love. He was here to settle scores.
"So u dont mind hurting Sanyukta for that?" His heart questioned, though he had no answer to that. He shut his eyes, attempting to control the tears in them.

She banged the door shut, and fell on the ground, the tears flooding her eyes.
How the hell did she even get the thought that he would have fallen in love with her?! He lusted her, hadn't he made this clear n number of times? And yet she had hoped, hoped, that may be, just may be, he too had some feelings for her- though all her hopes had been mercilessly shattered.
From Day 1 he had told her, they could not fall in love, and yet she had. She had fallen in love with him!
The pain was too much for her to take, her head was beginning to ache.
It was impossible for her to live here for 4 more days, with Randhir and Vidhushi being together, officially.
She picked up her phone and dialled a number,
"Hello...Mr.Brown. I wanted to reschedule my departure..."
She cut the call, after providing the required instructions.
"I hope u have a happy life Randhir..." She leaned her head against the wall, and smiled through her tears.
"Thank u for everything..." She whispered, brushing her fingers on her lips, remembering his feel on them, for one last time.
Tomorrow she would leave for London, far away from everyone, far away from him, far away from his presence, far away from all her emotions forever...She would never return back. Never ever.
She smirked on realising, that, true to her assumptions, a nightmare indeed awaited them outside her room. How she wished she had paid heed to Randhir's silent pleas, and had not come out of the room at all...
Revenge has the power to overpower all ur emotions- love, care, concern, pain, all...Randhir let vengeance guide him, not love. Will he realise his mistake before it is too late?
Phewww! This was a tough part to write! I hope ul enjoyed reading it!
Dont worry, it will obvio be Sandhir. But please understand, Randhir has his own issues that he has to deal with...I wil try to update the next part soon, though I am a bit busy til November...Plz excuse me..:) xD
