Dev is a tharki Goenka who is sober because he has not raped.

Otherwise he was very much after girls, going about Nitya's house or inviting her to his room and have pizza over movies.

No dearth of drives and dinners with Durga either.

He is a Goenka after all. If he won't grab hands or throw weight around then who will?
