It was a beautiful well directed epi and Avinash was just fabulous as the tormented soul who is afraid to come home as seeing his WIFE would weaken his resolve of not giving her water to drink and doing the opposite of what he wanted. NO EXTRAS TODAY AS IT WAS PURELY ONLY THE AGNIHOTRIS. 👏
The pandit arrives and gives the muhurat for brining home Ganpati Bappa and sees the rope but chooses to ignore that. He goes on to add that if the son and daughter do the puja for Surya Bhagawan the next day, it would be very rewarding for the father with long life and good health. Shlok finally decides to come home and on hearing the pandit's word is stopped in his tracks. He listens and then leaves. Anjali sees him return from the office and correctly gauges his reaction, from his expression and thinks to herself that she got a way for Aastha to break her fast by drinking water from Shlok's hand. Anjali truly knows her son very well and and is happy about the fast that Aastha is keeping with such devotion. ⭐️
Shlok goes into his room and then Sita comes close on his heels to say that dinner is ready. WHile removing his shoes, he says some lines and I, AM DOING SOME CARTWHEELS IN GLEE. YA, THE HAPPY DANCE EBP. AKDU PATHIDEV HAS ASLO FASTED FOR DEAR WIFEY ( i played this clip umpteen times)AS HE KNOWS VERY WELL THAT SHE WOULD NOT HAVE EATEN A MORSEL. HE IS TORN BETWEEN HIS LOVE FOR HER AND BABA. HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE WITH HER AS SHE IS ADAMANT AND RESOLUTE IN HER STAND. He says that if she does not care about him then why should he care about her. Here, Shlok sounded like a little boy who has been hurt numerous times and putting a protective shell around himself, his heart. This mask of indifference is coming back EBP like how it was during the HATE TRACK POST MARRIAGE. We can clearly see the ego blinding him to reality and Avinash you are doing a great job. 👏 👏
I f I get a hold of kavya I am going to plant a 100 little kisses on her cheeks.👏 She is smart as a whip and not afraid to call a space a spade. Bold, defiant, stubborn like all the other Agnihotris of the male sex, she is one FEISTY GIRL. LOVE HER TO BITS. Shlok looking dishy in a white t comes and sits for dinner where NA is already sitting . He looks over to AASLI who are waiting for a sign form the men to offer them water to drink. Nah, there two men are o their ego trip and esp NA who goes on to praise Sojal that the food is very tasty. Sojal is only too pleased at the praise from baba, this is what she craves and longs for from her husband, sasubai et al. This jibe by NA does not go unnoticed by AASLI who look at them sadly (a bit) and expectantly. Now, Shlok brings his mobile to the table and glances at it briefly before serving himself some food. AS HE IS ABOUT TO TAKE A BITE HE IS STOPPED EBP BY KAVYA. She just materializes out of thin air and tells him that chachi is not eating anything, has not even drunk a glass of water. Poor shlok, he gets all upset and looks like a cornered rabbit about to be slaughtered and even lil kavya notices this and asks him why he is looking here and there instead of replying to her question. Shlok can't take it anymore he is in such a state that he lies to his baba about getting a call and leaves the table, HUNGRY LIKE HIS WIFE. He also apes his baba perfectly of saying his pranams to GODDESS ANNAPOORNI with folded hands and NA looks at his AKS SHLOK IN SHOCK.
Back in his room he is pacing and having fb's. He is missing her like crazy and so in love that his love overpowers his ego and he goes down, only to see Aastha in front of him. He recalls her fervent plea that morning that they bury their differences. The shot of him, standing before the glass door, with his profile was done nicely. His thick and dark beard is adding to the whole effect. She is also unable to sleep and is thinking that he can't be so uncaring of her feelings. . She has fb's of the time when he fed her the apple, covered her with a sheet when she was asleep on the sofa, tearing her roti to pieces at Jyoti's house. ❤️Both see each other and they have a long eyelock, Then he spots water on the table, pours some into a glass and comes over to hand it to aastha, who is now all teary eyed and melting at his care and concern for her. But when their hands touch while holding the glass of water, AVINASH TRANSFORMS HIMSELF INTO THE LION WHO IS ANGRY AND PROUD AND DOES NOT LET GO OF THE GLASS, INSTEAD PULLS IT TOWARDS HIM WITH FORCE AND THEN TO MY SHOCK AND DISMAY UPENDS IT AND POURS THE WATER ON THE FLOOR.😲 😲 😲POOR THING , IS SHOCKED AT THIS DISPLAY OF HIS ANGER AND IS TOO STUNNED TO REACT.💔 💔 💔SHE IS ACHING FROM IT AND HER HEART IS CRYING LOUDLY AT THIS GESTURE OF HIS AND THEN SHE TURNS AWAY AND GOES TO HER ROOM. THIS WAS DONE MASTERFULLY WITH NOT A WORD SPOKEN BETN THEM, ONLY THEIR EXPRESSIONS WERE ENOUGH. LOVED IT LIKE WHEN HE BROKE THE ROTI FOR HER, SILENTLY SO TOO PATHIDEV CONVEYED HIS DISPLEASURE AT HER CONTINUED REFUSAL🐷 TO APOLOGIZE TO HIS BABA WHICH HE RECOLLECTS STANDING AT THE VERY SPOT. That drives him over the edge and pours the water on the floor between them. Shrenu too was looking so sad and forlorn here. She looks BEAUTIFUL as she is using some kajal in her eyes. keep doing that Shrenu, and go knock the socks off your onscreen akdu pathidev. 😉
Ever since Anjali changed her ways and developed a backbone, she has stopped her nocturnal prowls of AM and blissfully asleep on a feathered mattress. Now that task falls on the shoulder of NA who is deprived of his nightly or daily ritual of taunting his wife, rubbing it in her face what her AUKAD is, So he is prowling the halls of AM like BHATAKTI ATMA and spies his son Shlok holding the glass of water out to AAstha. HE is shocked to see this and can't believe that his son would do this and forgive her so easily. But then his displeasure is turned into a self satisfied and congratulatory smile when he sees the water on the floor. He does the happy dance and goes to his room for a fitful sleep, his ego, bald pate and feet all massaged in one go. 😆😆😆
Dawn arrives and Aastha is praying and looking worse for wear as both she and Anjali have not yet broken their fast. I must say she is taking it better this time and this time her love, obstinacy, willpower and Anjali's presence by her side is carrying her through, Admirable really. Anjali comes in a hurry and tells her that Shlok is going to break her fast and takes her to the aangan where they see Shlok offering his salutations to the Surya Bagavan for his baba's long life. He is pouring water from a copper pot and Anjali says to go and drink from it. So what if he is not in front of her, but he was offering water. So saying she pushes Aastha towards him and leaves. I have to laud the sasubai here👍🏼, 👍🏼she did not hang around to see her son and dil, gave them their privacy and left the scene. She was so understanding and nice.
Shlok with his eyes closed is deep in chanting the mantra when Aastha stands below and cups her hand to drink the water. She is relieved and ecstatic that her Bappa showed her the way. The sun pierces the early morning sky with his rays and hope that Shlok will soon see the light. On finishing his prayers he goes to leave when he glances down and sees Aastha who is smiling and happy. He at once grasps what has occurred and gets furious and tries to leave, AAstha calls out to him and asks him what kind of a husband is he that he cares so little for her, does not even bother to break her fast that she kept for HIM, HAD NOT EATEN OR HAD A SIP OF WATER THE WHOLE DAY. They are mere mortals and when Bappa wishes for something who are they to think otherwise, so saying she tries, she pleads with him to understand, to perceive, to be fair, to gather, to grasp the TRUTH himself. She reaffirms her love for him EBP and knows that he loves her too, just wants to hear him utter them EBP and this rift in their relation is excruciatingly painful for her and is suffering. SHE GOES ON TO ADD IF THEY DO NOT PUT ASIDE THEIR DIFFERENCES THEY WILL BE LIKE THE TWO SIDES OF A RIVER BANK, TOGETHER YET APART ECHOING THE VERY WORDS UTTERED BY SHLOK AFTER THEIR 2ND DIVORCE HEARING. SHLOK GIVES THE BEST DIALOGUE OF THE DAY THAT HE LOVES HIS BABA IN A BID TO GET BACK AT AASTHA🤬, ☢️ WHO ASKED HIM TO DECLARE HIS LOVE FOR HER. Omg this was so funny and was laughing so hard, baba bhakt is blind and is thinking that baba is the sky, mahaan and so great and good. Well good for you shlokie boy, see the greater you protest and say your baba is great, the HARDER THE FALL FOR YOU. SHE SAID IT RIGHT THAT WHEN ELDERS STRAY FROM DHARMA IT IS THE DUTY OF THE YOUNG TO SHOW THEM THE WAY. I was rooting for AaStha to leave after she delivered her stinging blow to pathidev and she did just that. Loving the attitude and spirit of the two women. 👏 The lota though small in size certainly held a copious amount of water in it. 😆 The sun god himself made Shlok break his wife's fast, by offering water to him. Very symbolic as the sun is always involved in their lives.
The scene that followed where both the women acknowledge and drink water was well done. A small gesture, a hint of the eyes, well done Anjali and AAstha. NA sees his wife drinking the water and then when he comes down he looks up and down to see if anyone is present and then only goes to attack her. He is a sly one and two faced man if ever there was one. Did I hear someone mention BIPOLAR disorder, yes that too and any other condition that can describe his mental depravity, go right ahead and call him that. He who said that it does not matter if she dies of hunger, now is upset that she has broken the parampara and had a sip of water. She, who used to wait for him to come and give her water, now is so emboldened and modern, in her equality with him that she does not wait for him. This is what bothered NA the most. Anjali was brave, cool and calmly stated she did not break any rules and is no longer afraid of him, she maintained the sanctity of the relationship AND THE BEST LINE === WHAT WOULD HE KNOW ABOUT SUCH THINGS, GIVING RESPECT AND HONORING THE SANCTITY OF THE BONDS, OF MARRIAGE AND EVERY OTHER RELATION. SHE TOO WALKS AWAY. KUDOS TO YOU. GREAT JOB. ⭐️
Shlok goes to his room and is having another meltdown. Good, wifey is pushing you into thinking, fairly and without bias. He says that he will prove to her that baba is not wrong. WRONG SHLOKIE BOY, WE WANT YOU TO PROVE HER WRONG, ELSE HOW WILL YOU STUMBLE UPON BABA'S TRUTH?????? DIG, REFLECT, PONDER, MEDITATE AND MULL OVER THE FACTS BEFORE COMING TO A CONCLUSION. HE EBP BLAMES THE ENTIRE THING ON AASTHA, WHO IS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THE ILLS AND PAINS OF AM. BAH, WHAT A CORKER I SAY, GET YOUR HEAD EXAMINED.😡 He absolutely hates that AAstha is making him even think against baba and is so out of his comfort zone that he hurls the family photo of the Kirloskars to the ground, shattering it for the umpteenth time. Kavya who is bent upon having her Ganu at home runs to ask chachu to bring him when she sees the broken picture on the floor. She think that's why chacha and chachi are katti and fighting and calls him dirty to his face and runs off in tears. Earlier in their room, Sojal tries to stop Kavya, make her realize about Ganu, but to no avail. Sojal was looking gorgeous in her pink sari. Shlok tries to call her back and then stops, he is ashamed that she caught him having a tantrum like a 5 year old and also does not know how to pacify her. 😭😭
On the whole the epi was just brilliant, well directed, the story is on track.Now many of you may disagree but I find it riveting the way the story is moving ahead. Shlok with his dark beard is looking more like a LION and is doing an admirable job as the man caught between the 2 loves in his life " baba and biwi. Manish, Geetanjali, Shalmalee, Grace and Shrenu were all so good and perfect that it took the epi to a different level. My Wah Wah Taaliyan, Taaliyan for all of them, could not decide among them. Every single one of them be it Shlok, Shrenu, NA, Anjali, Sojal or Kavya were superb. Can't wait to see what happens next. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
