What an episode, as a MaNan shipper, the potential always hovering, the chemistry always sparking, so close yet so far and just like that in a locked room, the magic is created. I started shipping MaNan hard with Meethi Boliyan, the potential of what they could be was captured in one moment of magic and today another time, another place and yet the magic reeled me in like a fish to a bait. Good job team KY2
And today the magic was shown again, the unsure glances, not just from Nandu but also Manik, what a transformation for the " in your face aggressive" confident Manik to this unsure guy who is hesitant to even hold the girl who he usually carries around. A pretty clear indication that Manik has begun to realise something, the minute realisation strikes, awkwardness begins. Manik' s hand hovering around her waist and yet so unlike the usual Manik, unable to hold her, Nandu so unsure of her proximity to Manik and yet its she who takes the lead, placing her hands on Manik's shoulder.
A role reversal of sorts happened today, Nandu was the one taking the lead, the person ordering Manik about while Manik stood dazed and confused and lost in the moment. My favourite moment was when he held her hand, his expression at that was brilliant, just indicating the confused emotional state he was in. I like this gradual progression in their relationship, because it is a slow burn, slowly heating up, slow to cool down, both passion and intensity will be at its peak.
Do I think Manik is going to change overnight? No I dont think it will happen, he will still use his ego to cover-up his feelings but the equation between Manik and Nandu has changed for sure. Nandini will reflect on him giving her his jacket along with the fireflies moment and she will see Manik in a different light gradually. There's a different feel to this love story, a very very different feel!
Harshad will use Nandu to try and drive a wedge between Manik and Dhruv, I am sure of it. I am not entirely happy with him the past 2 days.
