TRP pressure is more stressing than a exam for the makers,who in a haste of getting TRP's forget the attachment fans have to their created show and characters.Many feel that the makers are not ready to experiment but it's the channels not willing to cater some fresh stories to the audience.

Let's take examples from 2014 :

Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon had a different story line based on Bollywood initially,that was backed up by great dialogues and a strong script with great performances by Drashti Dhami and Vivian Dsena. In 2014,TRP pressure by the channel affected the shows storyline and fans were upset with the death of characters such as RK and Madhubala.

Rangrasiya in its initial days had a strong storyline and excellent production value but a different concept show couldn't be digested by the TRP audience, who need heavy drama's with major twist.Rangrasiya's visual graphics in the initial days were simply outstanding and looked like a film on TV.Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma's chemistry added to the shows popularity.

Saraswatichandra had one of the most strong opening for a Star Plus show.Sanjay Leela Bhansali's direction had charmed the audiences supported by a strong script and storyline.Currently the show is dipping in the TRP chart.

While one show that clicked with the audience after many revamps was Qabool Hai,which is still garnering decent ratings.
