Glad to know Shyam will be back in Anandham; otherwise, we will have only bad hats like Abhirami, Sangkarapandian, Kandu, Sreeni, Sivaraman and the new Joe (gosh, the list keeps expanding). But we hope you won't be moping over the loss of your "wife" all the time. Enough of manly tears, please. Perhaps some bonding with the newborn as well as some male bonding with your Assistant Commissioner friend (now that both of you are "single").
Am glad you're enjoying the experience of a cyber family like most of us do. The internet has brought about a new form of interactivity that has significantly influenced the development of film and television and it has enabled direct contact between artiste and fans.
Perhaps we are deluding ourselves but we think that some of our feedback has been taken into account by Cheyar Ravi and the Anandham crew. You're the best person at this time who can confirm this point.
One thing for sure is that Vanaja/Priya has changed her appearance, thanks to our feedback. She wears fine silk and cotton sarees now after we complained about her cheap-looking punjabi outfits in polyester. We also complained about her bushy hair and suggested that she thin it and let it down and indeed she has done so.
This forum seems to have also influenced Anandham in other ways. In one episode, we had a Priya, AC Durai and Indhu meeting at a restaurant in an uncanny resemblance to a storyline that I had developed earlier in my own fan fiction, spinning off from Anandham. Maybe it was just a strange coincidence.
Anyhow, watch out for these columns. We will certainly provide constructive feedback and we hope you will take it in the right spirit. Apologies, I don't watch any other serial except Anandham (and now Lakshmi whenever (Saakshi Sivaa appears in it). Bandham airs in Singapore at an odd time, so I can't watch it. Nonetheless, all the best in your television career. We hope you will visit more often and we're delighted to have you as a cyber buddy.
