Chronicles of Deivamagal 20 1st -6th September 2014

After the CCTV camera evidence regarding the anonymous caller to vigilance officer Usha Rani, leads Kumar, Satya and Prakash to Prabha, the ensuing angry verbal encounter between Prakash and Prabha is interrupted by Thilaga who questions the integrity of Prakash. She chides him for taking hasty decisions without properly verifying facts especially where it concerns his wife, Sathya. Prakash is temporarily rendered speechless by Thilaga's outburst. He finds out from Ragini that Usha Rani did not help them in identifying the anonymous caller earlier because she was more concerned for her son, Vasanth's future. Once again anger prevails over rational judgement and Prakash goes after Vasanth. While escaping Prakash, Vasanth meets with an accident and is hospitalized. Usha Rani loses her cool. She takes her husband to Jai Hind Vilas and confronts Prakash.

Prakash retorts back dragging her daughter's name. Her reputation at stake, Usha Rani goes back to her son and renounces him. For once even Kumar agrees with Prakash. But Satya is worried about the repercussions of Prakash's acts, as instead of the issue dying silently, the problem may escalate. Her fears become true when Ragini is kidnapped by unknown youngsters. Satya seeks out Usha Rani's help. Ekambaram witnesses Satya meeting Usha Rani, and dutifully informs Prakash. This adds more fuel to the fire as Prakash has still not forgiven his wife for losing the baby. Satya suspects Vasanth, but he puts on a convincing bad-reformed-good' boy act in front of his mother. He even sends his friends along with his mother and Satya on a wild goose chase.

On the other side, Saroja arranges for Suresh's wedding with Sowmya, without the knowledge of Devaraj and Sujatha. Vijaya, Ganesh and Sowmya's parents help Saroja in her evil scheme. While the wedding ceremony is going on in temple, it gets interrupted by the unexpected arrival of Devaraj. Saroja and her company bring some comic relief trying to escape Devaraj. They are forced to run from one venue after another. Annapoorani also gets wind of the marriage and rushes to meet Devaraj with her son, Karthik. Devaraj claims innocence. Meanwhile Sujatha also joins them and the four begin their search for Saroja and Suresh.

Did Satya rescue Ragini? Was Suresh able to wed Sowmya? The next episodes should answer these questions.
