its not the public demand as much as greed on part of the PH to pull the show as much as they can, according to me..yes, a part of the audience wants mush and rona-dhona but the show's USP was tht it was DIFFERENT from other 8 pm shows which already have both romance and rona-dhona (read JA and BV respectively) if the audience wants either of these, why wud anyone waste time watching a revenge saga masquerading as either of the two instead of established shows mentioned above?? this show was for the section of audience which WANTS a badass heroine eith an agenda of justice AND revenge..not the confused screenplay being shown on tv nowadays..is it romance;is it revenge;is it social; who can tell??i cnt..it keeps changing from dev-nitya to shaurya's bet to sakshi's past to payal's trauma with no connection in between..
another major reason for the show going downhill is dev's character..no offence to the actor, he has been given the most badly written character ever, and am sure he is doing the best he can.. the wirters cant decide whether he is a knight in shining armour, a messiah for the underprivileged, an essentially good but moronic guy or a business tycoon..the result is what we see on screen..a poor mix of all the above, which makes no sense whatsoever..the screenplay is lax, durga's character has turned into a juvenile, wimpy helpless damsel in distress and the worst according to me is the caricaturisation of Dr.Dayal..here was a mentor, a guide and a stabilizing factor in nitya AND payal's life..now he has taken a backseat to the kitchen politics of sakshi and durga..his behaviour towards payal has been also shown to be changed..this was a guy who at the beginning of the show was seen to be a father-figure to her, who was shown worried for her, to have a loving paternal look to payal as well as nitya..now, he seems to be concerned only to nitya and not so much with payal..i dnt like this development..dayal was the best character and they ruined him..
