Does anyone know how they make this mark on the wrist, is it like a tattoo? That seems so painfulIf in the past, this was actually done in real life for children in this situation, how horrible:(

Thanks for reply guysAnd...Oh my God:(I didn't know any of this went on, before this show I didn't even know about bonded labor, and details like the tattoo/mark make me want to cry:(
In the last episode I saw, Chakor was on her hands and knees cleaning the floor, then she was carrying hot tea for Bhaiyya Ji and his wife, who is sitting there in her silk sari, buying gold necklaces. I was like, HOW can they be okay with a small child doing this work and serving them while they sit and relax on the sofa?!
On Balika Vadhu they showed that an acquaintance of Anandi "buys" a young school-age girl to work in her house. The friend pretends she is adopting the girl but really she is purchasing a servant. Shiv and Anandi ended up rescuing the girl.
This is all so sad...I am so glad these shows are showing what is happening in some parts of India, maybe it will help to stop all these practices:(
