Purvi who is seen as Dolly in the show claims that the character in her debut show is very much unlike her.

To know more about her character, we got in touch with her and the lady beautifully smiled as she stated, "I essay the character of Dolly who is extremely transparent and honest. Being my debut show, the role is extremely challenging as what I portray is nothing like me in real life. I am soft spoken and more guarded, whereas Dolly is over expressive in each and every emotion."

Purvi who hails from Pune took up modeling and also featured in some ads before her stint as an actor began.

Elaborating on her struggle she said, "There have been a lot of difficulties during my struggle period. When I came here, I did not know anyone and I feel this is one profession which makes you spend a lot before you earn. I kept giving auditions and faced a lot of rejections. Now that I have finally bagged Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, I can say that the process of auditions and rejections was long but it was worth the wait."
