Agree with you Sindhu . Adham 's attitude towards life and his personality were his own enemies . His inferiority complex and insecurities led to his downfall . Instead of correcting his flaws , his ammi fueled them by constantly giving him false hopes . He could have chosen the right path and and done the right things in life . However the insecurity caused by Maham's affection ( or so we thought ) for Jalal got the better of him . The guy had no clue that his mom truly loved only him and not Jalal .

Good question Charu. Honestly No idea about Adhams Father. I am going to see if I can get information to this by digging into one of Abhays threads. I do vaguely remember reading it somewhere. Never paid any attention as I was more interested to read about Jalal and Jodha..

Maham is to blame for her sons death,her greed and haterade and her power hunger has made her an evil woman,to me she never loved jalal for her its only adham she has poisoned her son against jalal a mother never treats her children diffrently ,but maham did exat the same,imagine had she married himayun she would have been worst than MC i have no symphathy for these two

The episode for me was very significant .I would like to divide the episode into two major happenings. One,the scene between Jodha and Jalal and the remaining part.

• Jalal comes to pour out his heart near Jodha:

"I am in blood

Before going into the details of the scene, let's revisit the previous happening. Jalal had to punish Adham Khan, as the time had come, that he had committed the most intolerable SIN, f murdering Atgaah Sa'ab who was his Ataliq. Jalal has till now overlooked all his mistakes and crimes just because he was not only the son of his BADI AMMI and also he didn't have PAKKA SABOOTH against him , but what Adham has done was the END of his patience, something which was extremely unacceptable.Do you remember Jalal warning Adham, once in the past?😉

Thus, some may say , in a fit-of anger, but rather I would say that Jalal in an astute way, decided to kill Adham Khan, at that moment,and to give him such a KHAUFFNAAK MAUT !!!!

It was a necessary step to be taken, and hence was the motive of his public speaking with his AWAAM, alongwith the deadbody of Adham Khan

He was stained in BLOOD, and as we saw Jodha was shocked and was reluctant to go near him. Jalal, being himself in a state of TRAUMA and GRIEF, wanted to share his anguish with the love of his life. But Jodha was not READY to face him.

What was the exact line of thought going on in her mind? Here are my speculations---

1.How can a person, kill his own doodh bhai, that BRUTALLY,however SANGEEN may be the JURM?

2.How is he going to face, yet once more ,the pain of losing his LOVED ONES?

3.How is she going to RELIEVE him, from his pain and how would AWAAM react to THIS act of their Shehenshah?

Regarding your view about Jodha being concerned about Adham harming Jalal might be one of the reasons too. But she is pretty confident of her SHEHENSHAH😉

But somehow, she was herself, not able to COMPOSE from the VIOLENT SCENE, that had just happened.She is RELUCTANT to face him, Jalal surprised by this move of Jodha feels dejected(evident from the facial expressions).Then he is flaggerstabbed to see himself in the mirror, soaked in the BLOOD of the CULPRIT.Understanding, the reason of her behaviour, he marches to HAMAMKHANA, to wash away, the sinful blood of the culprit and to BURST out his GRIEF.

"Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and only with acceptance can there be recovery."

Now,coming to the most beautiful part,Jodha's realisation, Discovering that his mental state was unstable and that he was prone to any ANUCHIT KARYA, she rushes after him, to find him, alone. She simply watches him, thus giving him some time for himself to heal his wounds.For me, this was THE scene.

The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths. These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen.

• The Remaining part

I am really very sorry for Javeda, as she was the one who was PUNISHED by her FATE ,inspite of her being NIRAPARADHI. It sometimes happens that INNOCENT people are forced to face the consequences.

Maham Anga ke liye isse badkar aur kya SAZA ho sakti hai ki jinkeliye, woh aaj tak yeh saare kaarname karti aa rahi hai, aaj woh wajah hi nah rahi.

The "Hot Headded" Adham is himself RESPONSIBLE for his DEATH as the saying goes--

While seeking revenge, dig two graves, one for yourself

For both of them,atlast,I have only one thing to say--

Jaya wonderful post... I agree it's Maham all way who was to be blamed for Adham downfall.. She never scolded him for his wrong doings ? When she herself is plotting against Jalaal how can she tell adam to keep quiet ?

I think MA had showered extra love & affection and Jalaal future king, along with the desire to rule the Mugal empire being a dayi maa but Jalaal gave her utmost respect and power neglecting his own mother & even ruqu also.. MA got that power, but along with that she tried to make a path for Adham to become the Emperor...

What I hated most that MA power hungry and control Jalaal has destroyed the mother in her what's why she herself killed Jalaal future kids knowing very well how much Jalaal desires to become a father..

While MA always defended Adham wrong doings and never warned him instead assured him she will get him the throne and he will surely ONE DAY become the Emperor..

She herself is not loyal to Jalaal, also she shared her wrong doings with Adham, how her planning is working , whether creating MU between JJ or killing Ruqu child... But with Atgah finding out MA connection in Sujamal track has bring down MA now she left with NO POWERS, that desperation to WIN Over Jalaal and get throne to Adham ruined her, and bring the animal instinct in Adham which pave the death of Atgah and his brutal death..

MA is totally failed as a mother, her greed had ruined her son Adham loosing him to another loving son Jalaal who always give her Utmost respect and love compare to her own son Adham..

With her "doodh ka karz " only she and Adham till now got away from all the punishments, but still she is ungrateful to the son who truely sincerely loved her as a mother .. I just pity her for the sake of her own blood, she lost a faithful loving son...

She was greedy, power hungry, immoral and vicious - Adham is just the reason she told herself as justification for her own actions. What she did to CB was cos she wanted to give the Delhi takht to Adham. She plotted against Jalal cos she wanted the power not to slip from her hands cos she wanted to give it to Adham.

The trust is she WAS ENJOYING UNLIMITED POWER AND POSITION where the Shehenshah blindly believed every word she uttered. It was MA who kept getting greedy and she made Adham believe he was the reason she was doing all this.

What had love for Adham to do with causing Ruk's MC? It was because MA's ultimate ambition was the takht for herself. She very well knew Adham was not capable for it - so she could pretend that she did it for him and rule herself.

MA is the reason Adham reached Jalal's hojara in that state.

In many cases in spite of having a solid upbringing by Parents, we do see some children going wayward. Also in many cases we have seen some kids who turn out to be good in spite of having neglecting parents. Can we just blame the parents here.

In Adhams case, I would blame both Maham and Adham. Of course Maham paved the way but Adham also could have made a choice. He had many chances to save and change himself but he was not willing to. What u Sow is what you reap. For Maham for all her cruelties, she gets to see her only son die. This is the worst punishment any one can have, seeing your child die in front of your own eyes. For Adham he got what he deserved. The only one who did not deserve all this was Javeda. Both Maham and Adham did not think about her.

Jalal was right in giving a brutal punishment to Adham or sentencing him to death and he needed to do this. How ever I did not like throwing out the window. That said what is in destiny cannot be changed.
