I still think Rehan is necessary until Aahil confesses to Sanam. Without that push Aahil is complacent and denies Sanam his true feelings. He needs motivation to admit what he's feeling.

Rehan isn't bad yet so I'm not counting him out. His character doesn't have to be bad just because his mother is Kitty Gone Wong.

His feelings are human and I feel bad for him. He's not going to come between SaHil and I think he will be very instrumental in Kitty Diablo's demise.
