HI GUYS

I know this has nothing to do with LTL but please do take time out and pray for the people of PAKISTAN. They care women and and children also who are get fired at,

Pakistan police have fired tear gas at anti-government protesters marching on the official Islamabad residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The city's two main hospitals have told BBC 264 people have been injured, including at least 26 policemen.

Demonstrators loyal to opposition politician Imran Khan and cleric Tahirul Qadri have been taking part in a sit-in for two weeks.

They want Mr Sharif to resign, alleging corruption and electoral fraud.

Islamabad police chief Khalid Khattak told the BBC that close to 100 protesters had been arrested at the scene.

"Many of them were armed with axes, hammers and cutters, and I'm sure they also have firearms though we haven't seen one yet," he said.

On Friday Pakistan's powerful army chief, Gen Raheel Sharif, stepped in to mediate amid an ongoing deadlock.

Imran Khan ended talks with the government last week.

A government minister said that repeated attempts to resolve the two-week long standoff with protesters had failed.

Speaking to BBC World TV, cleric Qadri condemned the police's actions as an "unimaginable attack by the state upon the people", and denied that protesters were armed with weapons.

Fassben.. what you have outlined pains me intensely. 🤢 It's my beautiful home city that since last night has been changed into a war zone. All I do presently is sit here in my home, away from my motherland, inundated by media's one side presentation. However one thing is clear that, I condemn violence world wide be it in, Afghanistan, Syria or Iraq and now in my own country.

My spirit prays, that wisdom be granted to all who bear the burden and privilege of leadership ..in the areas of politics military and faiths. May that divine wisdom be used to resolve instability and put in place, justice, peace and reconciliation. I pray for the wise intervention of peace makers and their efforts to maintain world security and order.

I think presently about women, children and men who go through the disfigurement of their way of life due to traumas of war and terror, and presently suffer due to conflicts.

Lastly I pray that the angers and hatreds of humanity and all peoples affected, be replaced by acceptable settlement and peace.

Fassben ,thanks for this thread asking for prayers.

Fassben.
Its terrible whenever there is an unrest, anywhere for that matter, mostly ordinary civilians are affected, life is thrown out of gear n peace shattered. Hopefully good sense prevails on those who hold responsible positions n restore order.
