Jalal has realised that despite his awakened 'dil', the ferocity within him is ever present - if u remember the opening scene of thursday when he sees his own bloodied form and goes to the hamam to wash off the blood - very shakespearean we called it - but it was much more and this was not guilt or any such thing - this was Jalal coming face to face with his own complete self - he has just realised that the Jallad and the Compassionate both are present within and this is the dichotomy that he was coming to terms with on friday - all along he was wanting to be compassionate, it was not about wanting to be loved - and here were his own who were making him heartless and cruel - this is the true journey of every human - to accept and understand our own dichotomy and to rise above it.
I had wanted to see more of this dichotomy and Jalal's coming to terms with himself and today I got that - this is the most interesting take that I have seen so far - heroes are always good and white - but here we have a hero who is coming to terms with the evil within him - who is understanding and accepting that he has both the good and the evil in him and working towards balancing himself.
All the more interesting - in that entire bhaashan by Jodha, Jalal ke chehre par ju tak nahin rengi - all along his entire visage was of detachment.

U know what Khushi, iss poore hafte mei the actual pivotal scene was Jalal seeing his bloodied form in the mirror followed by the hamam scene where he is feverishly washing that blood off himself - the way that scene was done it was too stark and did invoke Lady Macbeth and Shakespeare - and if there is one thing about Shakespeare then it is that all his plays are about human psychology - and since thursday I have been wondering about this scene - infact, since here, Jalal has been in a place where he is touch sporadically but on the whole is totally detached - its almost as if he is outside his body, witnessing himself as one of the players of this drama
I sincerely applaud Rajat for his brilliance here and the team which came up with such an interesting angle.

U know what Adi...u r right once again...Imagine the thought process going on in Jalal's mind post that bloody mirror scene...that the takhth is the reason for the brutal murders of Atgah n Adham...(one of which he himself is responsible)...for his once beloved Badi Ammijaan (𤢠) to have so much resentment against him...that the takhth is the reason which has given him the power to be so gory...He is at crossroads...Earlier, he was a Jallad ..Now, he has a dil...But what he has now realised is probably that he needs to be a Jallad with a dil to be an able emperor...

Not needs to be - he has realised that he is both - what now he needs to do is balance the two and realise that it is in his hands to control the Jallad and keep a reign on the dil.
adi hum aapki baat se itefaak rakhte hain..cannot agree more..now he will be jallad with dilđ
