July to bring in more CASH for the industry
First half of 2007 has ended on a positive note with AAP KAA SURROOR and APNE doing well at the box office with AWARAPAN also showing signs of a fight.
Even as patrons make beelines into theaters to give the films a dekko, the days to follow are only expected to get many more smiles for the industry. Reason is simple; there are at least 3 more films in next 4 weeks that are expected to be sure shot box office successes. They are NAQAAB, PARTNER and CASH.
Beauty of the three films lies in the fact that they all belong to different genres and promise wholesome entertainment. While NAQAAB is a thriller bearing trademark Abbas Mustan stamp, the same can be said for David Dhawan's PARTNER which is creating excitement for one tremendous laughter ride.
Third release of the month, CASH, is not far behind when it comes to high anticipation amongst the audience as this actioner seem to be 10 times bigger than Anubhav Sinha's DUS and promises to take the action genre to a different level altogether.
Incidentally music of each of the three films has also been accepted with positive response. While Pritam's 'Ae Dil' is an interesting composition for NAQAAB, title songs of PARTNER [Sajid-Wajid] and CASH [Vishal-Shekhar] are hit with the masses too.
NAQAAB, PARTNER and CASH release on 13th, 20th and 27th July respectively.
