Hi friends, here in the light and those in the shadows 😆

This is a humble request to ALL people who haunt the QH forum.

I know there are many but the response is few.

I would like to request all silent readers to come into the light 😃

I know it's difficult to comment on everything you read but just hit like and it encourages a lot !

Lots of post makers here are amazing but we need feedback to continue feeling inspired to write more...

There are two ways to show appreciation

1. Hit the like button.

You've already loaded the page so hitting like won't cause you anymore inconvenience😆 so just sign up to keep your favourite postmakers inspired to go on...❤️

2. Leave a comment

You might not like some posts but most posts here are thought provoking and great for speculating on QH ... Most postmakers here have jobs or exams or classes or things to do too, so they come when they can. If something they wrote inspired you or made you feel good, please do leave a comment for them.

But if that's difficult for you, just hit like !!

Remember to hit like when you enjoyed the post!

Agreed. I have said this before on behalf of writers and I will say it again though it does not sit well with silent readers...

1. The writers are writing and for free not because they owe you anything but because they want to share their love of the show with you, if you manage 10 minutes to read their whole piece, take a minute to like AND comment.

2. The writer does not owe you hours of her time to PM so that you can get a fresh call to know when their piece is updated. Especially if you are silent. They have already spent hours writing. If they still want to do it, their wish but don't demand that they PM you when you can't even bother to post a comment.

3. Writers are not supposed to be grateful that you deigned to read their piece, they would have written it regardless. I have heard before from silent readers that we writers should be grateful just with the views. No! We spend hours without wishing for anything, if you spent the time to read it and not like it, you should still comment for reading our creativity.

4. If you are busy and don't want to comment, that's fine. Don't read either, we won't know the difference because you are silent.

5. Writers are not fishing for compliments with comments. We just want feedback on our writing. That's why we write here. We don't want money or anything. We just love to write. It is true that we like to hear from you so your comments means a lot to us. If you say that I can just stop writing because my comments here offend you, I won't cause I like to write. If you like reading my or someone else's stuff we must be doing something right. So why can't you write something other than "nyc" or "continue" or "pm me"? Yes, you are busy, so are we. If you sought out a FF to read it, you had time. Even on your phone.

6. FYI I like and comment everything I read here, especially the FFs. That is before I feel I owe it to the writer for giving me free entertainment. It is a way of saying thanks. Some people think on Shakespeare quality writing merits their comments, but I will comment on not to good writing too because these are writers in progress. They need encouragement, that's all their ask for in return for their hours of work.

7. Most hilarious is people who are fans of soaps but are embarrassed to put their name out there. Make a name up! And you like it enough to read the FFs, own it. It is not THAT embarrassing. Others tell me they feel shy. Shy about what? We can't see you, don't know who you are.

SO WRITE COMMENTS.

A well needed post. One feels like talking to themselves in an empty space when the post made gets no feedback, comments or not even tagged by any as 'like'.

All good posts have hundreds of views but just handful of comments ...its a forum and a dialogue is required to keep going, a monologue can't go much further.
