BUT, the way this story has unfolded, Jalal does look like he is more lost than ever and needs a tighter script. Jodha was only putting her finger in a leaking dam which can burst all barriers at any moment. Scary for her. 😆 Shyamala Akka was correct on all her points because she put it in context.

Paddy, He can not want his destiny but that is not soul searching was my only point. A spiritual journey never starts with not wanting what God has given you ... It could be questioning its purpose

I know he needed Jodha to get through that moment ... Like he did the day before. And I am glad this time she was not too scared

My issues with Jalal were similar to Aunty's though my articulation was clearly not as well grounded

yes Divy, questioning his purpose in life is a better way of putting it. That is indeed what puts us on the spiritual path looking for an answer that strengthens.

Jodha to get through such a momentous questioning of purpose is what CVs want maybe, but it is downright crazy. She cannot provide answers, she can only walk by his side and not be scared when he does this thing - that in itself is a big ask and needs courage from her. Imagine seeing the Shahenshah unravel like this and it falls on you to get through to him. Charging into battle with a sword can sometimes seem preferable to this.

No you articulated what you wanted to say well. Shyamala Akka added the details of the past that patiently explained to someone who hasn't seen all episodes.

This has nothing to do with being a Jalal lover or not ... One thing the CVs do out of history ... And can they show Jalal confident about it? Even Jodha does not show any trust in his decision

And I get his sadness about the past ... But half his fear was of the future due to the stupid curse ... That he will lose his kids and then Jodha and be completely alone.

Yes we might have our emperor back ... But if not for Jodha he may have run away ...

I am sorry guys I am just very tired of this yo-yo of characters ...

yes I also skip episodes and parts of episodes. It's good that I don't have an addiction to the show. Because we know we are not going to get the same person tomorrow. I won't be watching for a while, that's for sure.
