Okay so I didn't do this for the first episode, but I had to do this for the second episode.
The dream - Call it a bit of foreshadowing or a tale with a twist, but this was bound to happen. Ananya is a new pilot and she knew that by taking on a senior pilot she was putting herself in trouble. The way they showcased that right in the beginning as a dream was well done.
The talk between Nanu and Ananya - The perfect scene to bring the dream sequence to a "close" for lack of a better word. Her Nanu very nicely explained to her that she was wrong to think that she did wrong because even in a tense situation she can think on her feet and be right. And the fact that she brought the plane to a safe landing alone is a good thing. And I fully agree. I like how Nanu waited until the end to mention Captain Verma giving her added strength. A nice foreshadowing to a future episode where maybe two terrorists will hijack a plan with that little news bulletin right at the end.
Akash's mystery - This mystery deepens as Akash meets a mystery man in the park and talks about a plan. I doubt it to be a terrorist plot though because they are giving it too much time. It makes you want to feel that it's a terrorist's plot, but maybe it's something else.
Face-off between Ananya and Akash - You go girl! I like how Ananya didn't take it standing down this time, but gave it back to Akash. Someone needs to show him that not everything can go like he wants and she did it very well.
Tahir - I had my doubts from the moment this boy entered that he wasn't a terrorist, but trying to find someone. A terrorist would be more organized and less likely to draw attention to himself. After all if they did then do you think 9/11 would have happened ever?
Ananya's ally - The way they showed one of the pilots supporting Ananya was well-done. I also liked that the other 2 pilots waited until Ananya left before dissuading the first one. Slowly Ananya is sure to win them all over and the way they do it is going to be interesting to see.
Ananya and Captain Rathore - Don't mind me for combining all the scenes between them into one, but if they had done this continuously then it would have been something like this: (1) I hate you woman, (2) I don't respect women, (3) I might start respecting you a bit, (4) You just earned my respect, and (5) Good job, you're a partner now. That's kind of how things played out from Captain Rathore's side. Ananya tried to give him respect, but at the same time showed him that she wasn't going to stay quiet.
Ananya and Payal - Okay I'm a bit iffy here. I got frustrated on hearing Ananya lecture Payal. It reminded me of those infinite bahus on those infinite daily shows who are forever lecturing everyone. But at the same time some of the things she said were absolutely great! They were necessary and well laid out. To bad Payal was a bit lacking in the brain area to understand.
Final showdown between Akash and Ananya - Once again Ananya held her ground as she told Akash in her mind that they are basically two people on the same path, but she will win every time. I like her winning attitude. She doesn't think about her "opponent", but rather about how to bring the best out in any situation.
Precap - The expressions Akash was giving made me feel that maybe he's being forced to do this illegal job. But it'll be interesting to see how the two handle a flight together after their 2 episodes of fighting.
Note:
- I still have problems with the way Ananya is shown to be the only woman pilot. I'm pretty sure that she isn't the only one there is. There should be others.
- Why is it that both times there had to be an emergency landing? I would like to see an episode where the pilots make a proper landing and instead show more of the cockpit scenes or on-ground scenes.
- I'm no trained pilot or airport staff so correct me if I'm wrong, but don't people need to have a passport to travel domestically as well?
