Ever since the SC writers have been nominated for awards

there has been an uthal puthal on the forum

We as dedicated viewers also need to have our own awards

and so here are some ideas and nominations from me.

Please feel free to add more awards, and nominations and also vote dil khol ke

and make your favourites win some awards


so, here are some nominations from me...



I. The first category is the award for the most deadly laddoo


1. The one that came from Anushka's family

(this has already won according to all choohas)

2. The ones made by Guniyal

3. The ladoo in the pink shirt, if looks could kill wala deadly

No contest .😎


II. The sesond award is for the most prolific appearance on the show

1. Kumud ke premi

2. Kabir ke baal

3. Dukhba ka bhashan

4. Kumud ke aansooo

5. Guniyal ke priceless expressions

6. BD Sundari

Again, miles ahead of the competition...


III. The third category is for the most sexless, oops sorry, selfless love birds on the show

1. Laddoo and mirchi

2. Saras and Kumud

3. Mr and Mrs chandra

Shaadi se pehle kamarband romance dekhne ko mila to shaadi ke baad role-play milega! Knock,knock...🤔


IV. The fourth award is for the most eligible bachelor in the show


1. Yash

2. pramaad after his US trip

3. Prashant and his talent for quick building walls

4. Saras

5. Gautam Rode

Well he's the only one with a clean slate!

p.s. I dont care for homicidal builder-cum-jailbird


V. And the fifth award category is the secret and hidden talent award.

This is given to something that must be there, yet, we have never seen it.

The Green mantra is "Reduce, ReUse, Recycle"...

Reduce Use of "Mental" Faculties - Even a slight amount of usage can lead to over-heating, and thus contribute to global warming!!

Reuse Same Old Ideas, Storyline again and again - No throwing away & getting New, Original ideas!!!

Recycle Storylines from other shows, etc.. etc... Again connected to reducing your carbon footprint!!

Arshicsji, what to say? Creativity ka khazana. Marvellous imagination and entertaining award categories. More than these posts, the ideas behind it are extremely impressive to me. How do you come up with such striking ideas quite often? I think I am a 'late arrival' here. Already forum friends have contributed nicely and profusely. So I'm not left with much choices. A couple of good suggestions that struck me have already been listed here. Let me give a try.

Best loved (by trp audience) cliche ideas :

1. Obsessive lovers for both hero and heroine.

2. Sibling rivalry

3. Dumb heroine with 'maha thyag' attitude.

4. Clueless and helpless parents.

5. Poorly dressed heroine and beautifully dressed up vamp.

6. Selective or fake memory loss.

7. Sudden disappearance of important characters.

8. 'Forced' love birds and their love stories.

9. Hero-heroine separation tracks and heroine kidnap tracks.

10. Poojas and elaborate wedding sequences.

Best twists (which conduced to complex situations) in the story:

1. Return of the dead.

2. Newly born grown-up son.

3. Saras & kumud's 'almost done' marriages (individually) and last minute cancellations.

4. Yash's wedding with kalika.

Best logic ki vaat sequences (which produced unlimited fun) :

1. Mumbai track.

2. London track.

3. Fake amnesia track.

4. Current pagalpan track.

(It's impossible to list out the abundant logic ki vaat moments and ideas).

Most cherished objects of old SC (still etched in fans' memories)

(A genuine category):

1. Pool with lotus flowers that gently float.

2. Kumud's short and sweet poems.

3. Saraswathi's elegant photo which dikra worshipped once.

4. Golden kite, lanterns, hand fan that marked samud oneness.

5. White odini that symbolised both lovely and painful moments of samud.

6. The artistic masterpiece (ex) haveli.

Most consistent things on the show :

1. Cvs unused brain.

2. No story, no logic, no romance.

3. Kumud character butchery.

4. Humorous take on the sensitive issues.

5. Mockery of police and doctors.

6. Saras and Danny's ghar jamai status.

7. Kabir's hairstyle.

8. Gun and her dhoklas.

Brilliant puzzling moments created by cvs :

1. Genda-pool and samud SR.

2. Kumari's sudden entry before samud marriage and then sudden disappearance again.

3. Yash's encounter with kalika and how it blossomed into romance.

Best jodi :

1. Danny & Kusum

2. Kabir & anu

3. VC & guniyal

(One can easily guess why I omitted 'them' ).

Best costume :

1. Kumud's extra large faded kurtis & gaudy kaftans.

2. Kalika's rainbow lehenghas with centre belt.

3. Gumaan's loose and short blue asylum uniform.

Most dedicated actor :

1. VC - for 100% attendance.

2. GR - for obvious reasons.

3. Varun kapoor - for obvious reasons.

4. BD sundari - for obvious reasons.

Best comedian :

1. Gumaan for her slapstick comedy.

2. Gun for her silent expressions.

3. SM for her 'selective pagalpan' act.

Best stalker of SC :

1. Pramad

2. Kalika

3. Kusum

4. Jugnu

5. Prashant

Best wallpaper or property at the backdrop :

1. Yash

2. Kotikaaki
