Dheer in a Movie - More Info added

I was watching some old DVDs and saw Dheer in "Dil Kya Kare" with Ajay Devgan and Kajol. It was a very small role. But he was good. Just thought of sharing this with you folks 😊....

Dheer's real name is Ashish Kapoor. He recently got a chance in a crossover film 'Zero Hour - A Royal Massacre', which is basically a docu drama by U.K. Productions based on the royal massacre of King Gyanender of Nepal, and he plays the role of the king.

Ashish says he is banking on this movie for a break in Bollywood, "Yes, I have done this movie and I really liked it very much, as it is something different and is beautifully made. I am trying to show the film to as many filmmakers as I can in this little time that I get from my busy schedule of television. I hope that it will impress those who are interested in such kind of serious and different films and they will give me a chance to work for them in Bollywood," says Ashish.

But why is he so curious to join films?

"I feel that films have more archive value as it can be stored in a DVD or CD and can be viewed many years down the line, but television unless taken pain to store and that too so many episodes cannot be stored and even appearance in films is much remembered then in serials," adds Ashish.

he was also in chalte chalte eh? i've watched that film about 50 times & i never noticed him.😆😆 guess i become blind to everything else when i see srk-rani together onscreen. anyways, thanks for sharing. i shall look out for him next time i watch the film.😊
