How do you know that his 'self-esteem' is not intact while essaying this character. As the word rightly says 'self' so let him decide.

The only remaining path for KS, is for its TRPs to fall off the end of the charts. Then Ekta will either pull the show off telly (more likely) or pull up the shows quality (highly doubt it, as now NB is the creative head of BT).

As for RK, he his doing his job, it's just a job and he is doing it well as far as acting is concerned. Why would RK's self-esteem be affected at all for essaying a purely fictional character? Yes, falling totally out of love with Jai Walia can happen. Yes, Jai Walia's popularity can soon become a distant memory. Finally, yes, just the mention of Jai Walia can only invoke pity in our minds.But, that can always happen with any and all TV characters. I am sure, RK is well aware of this fact. Why should he be too bothered about his ardent fans who adored the unique character that he played at the beginning of Kasam Se. He is just doing his job.

I would like to add, I don't believe that RK doesn't have any say whatsoever as to the current progression and portrayal of his character in Ksam Se. But, that's purely my opinion.

An actor's life is not easy, work and fame do not come easily. It is easy for us to say, he should quit, as to us he's Jai Walia, but to his family he's the provider. The show's a drama, there will be times when it hits an all time low, this happens to all dramas. You can see equally disgusting things in other serials too and also periods when things are going good!
You see, I think the creatives want to show a man who will go to any extent to keep the woman he loves from jail. I'm not saying that this is logic, Ekta and logic 😆 but they do this to women protoganists too, show them butchering themselves to save their loved ones. I think becos its JW, we can't accept this.
RK is an a actor, I'm sure there's a silver lining somewhere, otherwise, he will not be letting himself be shown as so helpless! We can bash JW but not question the actor as to whether money is so important to him,
I'm sure all of us have periods in our lives when we just feel that our work is not worth the money we're getting but still can't quit! That's everyone's life, I guess at some point or the other!

Well said exactly he has a family to feed which hes doing..if he was not a actor he would still have to do some crappy job which who knows if he would get credit and recognition for. All actors do stuff they do not like theres 100s of characters some good , some bad you know ...at the end of day hes got fame and credit for his potrayal is that not the main thing actors after. Its easy to say walk out to them but if he was able to why did he not go to another production house before whys he continually said it was ekta who gave him role when he needed it...yeh hes got a bigger name so might be easier if he walks out on a person after saying that wheres his self respect then. None of us know 100% what goes on behind the scenes am sure he must know what hes doing hes not a baby as fans should you not be trusting his judgement.
