Cost cutting. 50 Crs for HR.. budget spent on casting.

Doubt it. He wanted a fresh face.

Also I don't think this is going to be a standard Bollywood film. Looks to have international teams and investors involved. So I don't really think they care so much about the female lead just that she's convincing.

A doco movie centred around the ancient civilisation.
