Today's Take - The Truth Is Out

Let's see out the last three weeks of RR with a smile, RRians!

Last scene first ... the whole episode was a build up to the emergence of the truth ... a truth that should have been brought out a long time ago. Today I felt very sorry for Myrah ... a girl with stars in her eyes, dreaming of a handsome Prince Charming, a knight on a white horse ... building castles in the air ... a girl lost in the happiness of first love ... trying to fit in, trying to be what she thought HE wanted her to be ... all because she loved him ... and thought he loved her too.

Only to find that her castle in the air was based on a foundation of quicksand ... and to see it collapse in front of her eyes into nothingness. Her dreams barely formed ... shattered ... because he didn't love her ... he hated her ... not because of what she was, or could be ... her desi-pan or lack of it ... but simply ... her face. The one thing about herself, that she couldn't change even if she tried.

And Rudra today finally lost it ... and told her the truth he had been hiding for so many days ... a truth that he actually should have told her the first day they met ... or at least the first day he found her feelings for him changing. A truth long overdue ... was finally out.

It wasn't Myrah he cared for, it wasn't Myrah he loved ... heck, it wasn't even Myrah he SAW every time he looked at her. It was PARO.

And it always would be. Because Paro was in his heart, and always would be.

A quick episode update ... the news has gotten all of us very down ... let's try to see out the last three weeks with Faith and Hope standing strong.

Maithili is right ... Rudra is developing feelings for Myrah ...😕

Myrah still vacillating between 'he loves me, he loves me not ...' is convinced by Maithili's lecture ... and decides to stay out of Rudra's way.

Dhruv and Koel ask for Myrah ... Maithili tries to brush them off ... Rudra stays quiet. His feelings seem to be a mix of guilt and something more ... he says nothing to help Maithili brush off the kids.
Kids, being kids, insist on checking on Myrah ... so Rudra takes them to her room.
Myrah stays true to her resolve of staying out of his way, so refuses the invitation for ice cream.

Rudra keeps stealing glances at Myrah ... as usual, afraid to face his emotions ... as usual, running away ... Myrah feels again that maybe Maithili is right after all, and helps him out ... refuses to come with them.
And also answers his unspoken question ... 'I'm all right."

Of course Rudra can't admit he was asking her that ...

Kakisa will not change till the end ... she's now ruing why the kidnappers were so stupid and didn't manage to extract any money from Myrah ... and matchmaking for ... Rudra. Both her sons are married, as Danveer points out ... but thoughts of the potential dowry Myrah might bring, suddenly awakens belated maternal feelings in Mohini. 😆

Myrah alone at home, confused at her feelings and Maithili's words ... and Rudra's silence ... tries to call Rohit, only gets voicemail.
She makes up her mind it's 'he loves me not' ... and decides to return Rudra's jacket ... it's not hers to keep, after all. And in Rudra's room thanks to a few helpful gusts of wind, she discovers Paro's picture. Minus the garland.

And she jumps to the fairly natural conclusion that it's her ... the way Rudra would like to see her. After all, the man has been giving her lectures on true love and marriage, questioning her about her fiance, taking his bodyguard role very seriously to the point of guarding her the whole night in his own house ... and not to forget the most important point ... he kissed her. But Maithili says he likes his woman to be desi ... and he's also been going on about how 'angrez' and non-desi she is ... so maybe that's his sticking point, and this painting is how he would like Myrah to look, before he acknowledges his feelings for her.

Which means ... he loves her. He really does. Why else would he have a life size painting of her hidden in his cupboard?! Why else did he kiss her?!

There is another big reason, of course ... but Myrah really cannot be expected to think that she is the humshakal of Rudra's wife, and nobody has bothered to tell her this huge truth in so many days of her living there.

It seems Myrah shares another trait with Paro, apart from the speed of falling in love with Rudra ... she does nothing by half measures. And she's transparent and very honest about her feelings.
So first thing she does ... break up with Rohit ... over a recorded video message.
What a way to break up! 😛 I almost feel sorry for the absent Rohit ... she could have waited for him to come to Udaipur and told him in person!

And also waited to clarify matters with Rudra in person too. Jumping the gun ... is a kind way to describe Myrah here. 😛

However, unlike yesterday, when she sounded like a giddy teenager in the throes of her first serious crush, today Myrah actually sounded quite serious about being in love with Rudra.

The RR cvs have absolutely NO IDEA how to show a woman falling in love. RR 2.0 repeats another trait of RR 1.0 ... the express train unbelievable speed of the FL falling in love with the ML. 😕

Her unpleasant task accomplished, Myrah starts the next task.

In the meantime, Rudra, Sumer and family are happily eating ice-creams ... cute family outing ...

till Rudra suddely realises that Myrah is at home alone ... belatedly wakes up to his bodyguard duties ... and rushes home.

And finds Myrah in HIS room, wearing HIS Paro's clothes ... (not done, Myrah ... how can you happily take out clothes from his cupboard and merrily wear them? And has Rudra kept Paro's clothes in her cupboard for the last seven years?!) ... preening herself in front of HIS Paro's picture ... and very pleased with herself about it.

As expected, Rudra loses it completely. First he loses his voice ... as he sees Myrah, but not Myrah ... Paro ... Paro laughing, smiling, jumping in the sand, all the flashbacks come crowding in ...

And then Myrah speaks ... about how she dressed up for him, this is the way he would like to see her ... and it's time they acknowledged their feelings for each other ...

And the memories are replaced by rage ... how dare she?!
Dhruv and Koel come back ... Dhruv says 'mummy has come back' ...
And Rudra loses it ... there are no feelings ... he doesn't love her ... the painting is not her, it's his wife, Paro, the woman he loves most in the world, the woman inside his heart for ever and ever ... and he hates Myrah ... because she has Paro's face, Paro's voice ... but she is NOT Paro! And she can never be his Paro.

Poor Myrah stares at him as her beautiful castle of dreams comes crashing down around her ears ... completely in shock.

As per precap - Myrah leaves the Ranawat haveli ... am glad, it's what I would expect her to do. 😊
And Rudra goes after her ... why? 😲

Hi Diya- Thanks for opening the post and giving such an awesome analysis of every scene and every situation.😊

Hi Shweths- You have outdone yourself today. You collages speak volumes about the character and the situations.😊

I know that the show is going to end but I am going to enjoy the last few days with you all and hang in there for Parud. Today's episode was an eye opener for Rudra and Myrah and here are some of my thoughts.

Staying away moment- Maithili's lecture did affect Myrah and she stayed away from eating together. Of course her buddies Koel and Dhruv are concerned about her and koel story frightens Rudra.😊

Moment of Greed- KCM is back to her greedy ways and is ready to make Myrah her daughter-in-law. Danveer is right that she has no value for emotions but that is not going to affect her because she is going to raise that topic again.

Checking in moment- Koel does all the talking that makes Myrah happy and Rudra Bana makes it clear that since she hasn't come out of the room the kids were getting worried. 😊 as if he wasn't bothered.

Offer for Ice-cream- Myrah did refuse going for the ice cream treat and loved how Dhruv told her not to lock her room from inside so that Rudra can check on her.😊

Reading into Rudra's mind moment- Rudra turns around and Myrah understands what he is thinking and assures him that she is alright. Ashish and Sanny were brilliant here 👏

Moment of conflict- Myrah tells Rohit that the location of marriage may not be needed even. Now Rohit will be taking the first flight to India.

Moment of introspection- Myrah smiles at Rudra's and Dhruv's portrait and is thinking of how many close moments she had with Rudra.😊

Moment of thunderstorm- The papers start flying from the gutsy wind and Myrah closes the window to avoid the storm but it is already there.😊

Stunner of the day- Myrah looks at Paro's portrait and is shocked and thinks that it is her portrait. Sanny's expressions were bang on at this point. She is ecstatic that Rudra made her painting and he loves her too.

Illusion of the day- Myrah thinks that Rudra loves her and wants her to look like the portrait.

It was nice to see the Ranawats enjoying ice-cream for a change and Sumer offering for a movie.

Concern of the day- Rudra does get worried for Myrah thinking that she is all alone. He even snubs Shatabdi that she has been kidnapped once and it might happen again.

Revelation moment- Myrah does admit to Rohit that she is in love and he is not that person. This one person came in very unexpected conditions and she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Well, Myrah doesn't know how love happened, that kind of love in which he or she doesn't believe. Myrah says that such kind of love exists in real life too and she can feel it.😊

Moment of Honesty- Myrah was downright honest and she did say that she is in love with someone else and if she marries Rohit, that will be life's biggest lie. And they cannot lead a life based on lie. Myrah says sorry and she expects him to be able to forgive her one day. She was honest on her part and now we have to wait for Rohit's reaction.😊

Dhak Dhak moment of the day- Rudra does look at Myrah dressed up as Paro and can't believe his eyes and he remembers Paro.😊

Breaking spell moment- Myrah does ask Rudra "Does she remind her of anybody?" He drew it with so much of love and goes on to say that she is looking just like it. Rudra Bana is ready for the Taandav but she stops him and tells him that whatever happened last night, should it have happened? And then she found the painting and she understood that he feels the same thing as she does.

Taandav moment- Rudra stops Myrah's confession and he asks her how dare she touch the painting? Myrah thinks that he is going to say sirf meri hai and she wants to be Rudra's in those clothes. Dhruv is happy to see Myrah in these clothes but Rudra Bana is ready to explode.

Myrah's Myth broken- Rudra tells Myrah that this painting is not hers. This painting is of that lady whom he loves, first and last time till the time he dies. He says "Yeh tum nahi ho" and shows pictures on the cell phone. Rudra shows her the album and says that she is the lady whom he loves more than his life and in is every breath of his. Rudra further says that "yeh tum nahi ho Myrah Mehra" because this is his wife, Paro.😊

Bitter truth moment- Rudra further explains that he refused to work with her because her face resembles his Paro, nobody can have the same face as Paro so he hates her. He further says that she has the same face, same eyes, same lips, but "Woh nahi, Tum woh nahi", Tum woh ho hi nahi sakti". Myrah was hurt today because of this but it was about time she knew this fact.😊 Dhruv and Koel could feel the effects too and Dhruv is going to take it to heart.

Random thoughts- Myrah deserves to know the truth and she did hear it from the man. Now she knows that Rudra liked her for her face. Myrah poured her heart out today but it needs to be seen how is Rudra going to take all this. If Rudra pursues her now then it will be a different angle to the story.😊

After watching today's episode, only one word comes to my mind and that is "Pain" after hearing the bitter truth.

P-Penetrating (Rudra tells Myrah that the painting is not hers which shocked her)
A- Aboveboard(Rudra says that he loves Paro till the time he dies)
I- Important( Rudra said that he hates Myrah because she has the same face as Paro)
N- Noteworthy (Rudra tells Myrah that she can never be Paro which killed her)

Brilliant acting by Ashish and Sanny and what a portaryal of shock, hurt and pathos.👏

Adding a few thoughts on the last scene ... I expressed only the emotions of the characters, because that's ALL I saw. And that's a testament to the acting talent, when they made me forget the actors, in the characters they portrayed. 👏👏👏

Sanaya in the same get up, the same clothes as Paro ... and as Myrah ... Myrah wore Paro's clothes. YET not for a moment could you see Paro there, or maybe just in that first instant, when you saw her through Rudra's eyes as he burst in through the door and got his first glimpse of her. After that it was Myrah all the way ... in the extra bright smile, the hopeful look, the body language and gestures, the tone inflections ... the same actress, the same clothes, yet they were two different characters ... completely different ... and completely unmistakeable.

Rudra could not think for more than a second, for more than that first stunned glance, that it was Paro ... and neither could the viewers. It was Myrah all the way.

Hats off to you, Sanaya ... that is called ACTING. 👏

Awesome take Diya, fan of your collages Shweta, and thanks for the PMs.

My heart went out to Myrah today in the last scene, she is impulsive, a bit thoughtless and careless, all of it but it is always sad to see a heart break and Sanaya was just brilliant portraying that. Glad Myrah will finally decide to leave the Ranawat haveli and also know why the family reacted the way they did when they saw her.

Mythali, the voice of reason and looking out for her devar-sa and Dhruv, a well done scene.

Diya, don't know if Myrah removed the clothes from Rudra's closet, there was a clothes line next to the cupboard, so it must be stuff from the dyeing business.

Myrah in Paro's get up and clothes, yet it is not Paro, the body language, facial expressions etc. Sanaya is doing a superb job and Ashish too was impressive. Respect the commitment of the cast to their craft despite the sad news.

Myrah's online break up will draw Rohit to Udaipur at last. (Diya, to her credit Myrah did realise that she should have been face to face to break the engagement, not appropriate doing it through a video recording).

🥳finally Myrah knows truth 😃 Truth that is 🥺 however is must as to begin any new relation honesty is must👍🏼

Show ending is not a new thing. BB has killed shows before too and now am wondering should i watch shows on Colors any more? 😕

Diya did very good analysis so am not going to do much today as am having issues with time management and being on forum is not helping out at all😆 but old habits die hard. Have to be here for this post and to admire Shweta's collages😃
