July 2, 2007 Brief Update

Starts at the pool murder scene, ACD tells JC about the guests involved, instructs the inspector to inquire all those present at the party yesterday. Inspector says people say the dead man was drunk and hence had drowned in the pool. ACD tells to not let anybody come inside or go outside the place, and also tell JC he is in the process of finding out who else participated in the party. Meanwhile the press asks about the murder/accident/suicide and ACD tells them to wait until autopsy is over.

Nallan and Indhu finish grocery shopping, Indhu wants to spend somemore time out, so nallan takes her to Pechi patti's (PP) house. PP advises Indhu that she has to be with her parents only and all such stuff and tells Nallan to take good care of Indhu.

Sivaraman (SR) is walking on the beach, he crosses RK, they meet and talk. SR invites RK home for coffee and they talk about Charu, business, and Priya. RK asks how Priya is working, is she smart and all, SR says Priya is very smart and that she always sings rk's praise and all that. SR also sings RK's praise, about how he has taken care of priya and all. Sr also tells RK about charu's accident, that she is better. Rk has tea and he leaves.

PP's house, she is at the puja room, her maid calls up SKPD and tells PP has not eaten anything since morning. SKPD comes home and PP says, it's the 30th anniversary of the day her daughterinlaw and granddaughter went missing. SKPD calls up his accounts man and tells him to bring the detective (the one Charu had hired to find out about her daughter) home by the time SKPD reaches his house.

Kandhu comes with his men to Abirami's house and threatens her, he says if she goes down one step he can go down 7 steps to bring her down, that he can expose her by telling all the crimes she has done, that he is bad man, and he can put her behind bars. Abirami storms away in anger. Of course, Indhu is listening to all this sitting in her room and thinking. FREEZE

July 3, 2007 Update

Starts with Kandhu leaving abirami's house, Indhu is watching all this and finally goes to sarasu asking why inspite of kandhu's words abirami has still not gone to the police, sarasu says she does not know, and tells may be becos abirami is also involved she has not gone to the police.

SKPD's men go to the detective office, as they are about to climb up, one guy who sees them warns him about these men coming, the detective escapes from there and goes to SKPD'S house straight and tells SKPD that he has near 99%, but needs more time to verify.

Kandhu's men tell him Abirami will be more angry with him now and try to nail him, but Kandhu plans to flee the country

Detective meets ACD at the gym (ACD pumping weights, wearing a collarless and sleeveless T), tells ACD about SKPDs threat, ACD tells him to go out of town for a while until Charu comes back.

Indhu playing kannampoochi with nallan, and then with Abirami. Shanti calls up asking to speak to indhu, Abirami wants to know why Shanti wants to sepek with Indhu and says she takes better care of Indhu than shanty and Indhu is totally under her control, that she has molded Indhu that way. Indhu is hiding and listening to all this. FREEZE.

July 3, 2007 Update

July 4, 2007 Brief Update - another booorrrrringgg episode.

Abirami rattles off to shanthi saying Indhu is fully under her control and Indhu totally believes whatever she told about Karthik. Indhu is listening to all this hiding from abirami.

Kandhu and his men go to collect his dues from one of his defaulters. The guy is not there, only his daughter and wife. Kandhu insists on waiting for the guy to arrive, then Kandhu gets a fone call from someone threatening to expose him in the ramakrishnan murder case and tells him and his men to leave the lady and his daughter. Kandhu apologizes and leaves.

SKPD tells abirami he has accepted SR's offer to protect a guy. Abirami tells SKPD to be careful, that he could be inviting trouble. Just then SR comes with a suitcase and tells them this is only an advance for the work they have undertaken to do. Abirami and SKPD open the suitcase to see gold bars.

Kandhu is thinking about who could have called him up, with the number, they realize it is the public booth belonging to a guy to whom they had lent money. They go there to find out that place has changed hands, they tell the new owner to inform them if anybody calls Kandhu up. Insp. Ghani is watching all this hiding behind a newspaper.

Arjun meets Abirami and warns her to return Indhu to her mother, tells her she has only few days left for the agreement to get over, if she does not return Indhu by then she will have to answer ACD. Abirami is thinking, even if I want to return Indhu, she will not go. FREEZE

SORRY for the delayed update folks, my computer crashed, it took me some time to get it fixed. Here goes the update for today.


July 5, 2007 Update

SKPD and SR are waiting for the arrival of Joe [yikes, I don't like him], SKPD is getting irritated at waiting, SR tells SKPD Joe will come by air, by ship or by car and finally Joe arrives [grrrr] , intros exchanged and all leave.

SKPD's man, murugesh, the one Kandhu helped, comes and asks SKPD for money, SKPD talks very rudely to him refuses to help him. The guy stares and leaves.

ACD and JC traveling in a car, discussing about the recent murder/killing/accident. Acd says the guy was too drunk, and that is what the autopsy also indicated. They discuss about the big shots that attended the party and Jc tells ACD to proceed along those lines, find out why the party was conducted and all.

Murugesh comes running to Kandhu falls on his feet. Kandhu is irritated and asks him what he wants, murugesh tells him SKPD insulted him, also says no body wants to hire him for work and nobody is ready to lend him money for business. Kandhu instigates him by asking him if he is going to maanathai vangify SKPD or …, Murugesh says he has made up his mind, Kandhu says whatever you do I'll stand by you' and gives him some money.

Joe's car has broken down in the middle of the road and he's asking for a lift and guess who gives him one, ACD {Bon, much to your irritation, our man is wearing the green shirt again]. He introduces himself as BRIL. ACD asks him where he is from, says Singapore, ACD asks him here he needs to be dropped, he says down the road, I don't know the address, but I know the place. In the meantime SR calls him and BRIL tells SR that his car has broken down and he is traveling with the asst.. comm. Of Police , SR tells him to get off the car at the earliest. Finally acd drops BRIL in front of a house and they exchange thanks.

Murugesh is seen staring and holding a knife in his hand.

SR comes to met Joe and tells him ACD is a big lion and to be very careful with him. SR picks up Joe and they go to meet SPKD. Murugesh is approaching the premises with the knife.

FREEZE.

UPDATE FOR FRIDAY, 6 JULY

The bad news: no ACD 😭

Scene 1
Nightfall. Orchestra plays suspense music. Murugesh is shown lurking with a knife. The raging man clambers up the walls of SKPD's house and crashes into a party of baddies -- SKPD, Sivaraman and Joe Bril. Murugesh wants to take revenge upon his former boss SKPD, who had refused to help him in a moment of need, thanks to Abhirami's influence. But our Singapore man is quick to overpower him and actually kills the hapless fool with his bare hands. Joe adjusts his collar and strikes a triumphant pose (thinks he is AC Durai, eh? Not in a millennium, Joe!) SKPD thanks Joe for having done the deed he had intended doing himself and orders his faithful kanakku to bury the "dog" somewhere.

Scene 2
Kandu is in prayer. I like this guy; he prays aloud for the well-being of all around him. His right-hand man "Sevakomaru" (Sivakumar) comes in with some agent. Kandu is desperately trying to leave India and asks Sevakomaru to go to any extent with the agent to arrange for a passport to be made. He thinks the police are closing in on him.

Scene 3
Mournful music. Omnipotent and Karthik moping over their daughter at the dining table. Arjun is hovering around. Karthik isn't hungry. His extended leave is about to end. He doubts Indu's mind will change any time soon. He says he'd rather return to the warfront in Kashmir and do his duty to the nation. The conversation turns to bringing back Indu from Abhirami's house. Arjun advises that Karthik return to his dad's house for the time being. Blah, blah, blah. Some usefuless dialogue that is inconsequential to the plot.

Scene 4
Kandu completes a phone call. Sevakomaru comes in. Kandu enquires about the promised passport. He is frustrated as it is taking so long to get processed. Just then, one of his henchmen announces that the passport is ready and the agent seems to be at the door. But, surprise, surprise. It's Insp Ghani who walks in instead. Ghani senses Kandu's shock and disappointment at seeing him. He says he has learnt that Kandu has taken a new photo and that he also plans to open a business overseas. The man has obviously done his homework. Kandu tries to expain away these actions. But Ghani then reveals he knows Kandu has applied for a passport. The flustered Kandu replies that his men had suggested that he go for a sightseeing tour abroad and that he thought it was not a bad suggestion since airfares had fallen. Ghani tells him to stop dressing up his story and warns him that he can't get too far away from the police, who are watching his every step. Kandu apologises, claiming he didn't know he was not supposed to leave the country. Ghani leaves with a firm warning that he should stay put in Chennai.

Scene 5
Karthik and Omni consult with the child psychiatrist bloke about bringing back Indhu from Abhirami's custody. Shrink calls Abhirami on her cell phone. He asks how Indu is and Abhi replies, "Fantastic! She hasn't even thought of her home." Shrink asks Abhi to bring the child to his clinic the next day. Abhi asks why. He replies, "just a general check-up." Shrink then tells the parents that he will check Indu the next day and if he assesses she is well he will order her to be returned home. But he advises Karthik to make himself scarce. Melancholy looks, recollections of Karthik's broken photo. Pathos, pathos all the way. Freeze on Omni's face.

Brace yourselves, folks, for a denouement of the Indu saga at the shrink's office on Monday. Yeah!

Shylock, hope you don't mind that I did the update; I thought I'd spare you the task since you were obviously busy yesterday. Thanks to the Londontamilvideo folks who uploaded this video promptly. I may have missed some bits of the dialogue as a result of slow download but I think I have got the essence of the episode. I will get to watch it in Singapore next Thursday. But, no, I will give it the miss now that I know our hero didn't appear.

July 9^th Update

RK, wife and Shanti arrive to see the doctor as requested, doctor comes after them but no sign of Abirami and Indu. Meanwhile RK,s wife with her eyes wide open talks ill of Abirami, after waiting for a while RK asks the nurse to inform the doctor that they are still waiting, after they enter into Doc's room RK ask the doc to call Abirami, he calls home and Nallan says she left home with the kid in the morning. Then he calls Abirami in the cell, they show both of them in the go cart. Abirami answers the phone and stops the cart and says she totally forgot about it and this was planned with Indu and promises to bring the kooti chathan the next day. RK and family leave disappointed

Inspector Shankar thinking about ACD, some other police officer comes and says things about ACD and how he thinks big of him self and the media also has helped him with this position

Abirami's sister in the park (cannot remember her name) with Sham's kid Abirami does not even smile when her sister smiles at her, the sister request her to return Indu to Shanti and Abirami says will you in turn give me your brother's kid, which was initially promised by Sham before coming to the hospital. Sister says you are continuously doing wrong thing. Abirami says why do you even bother when you and your brother has rejected me. Sister says I don't hate you but all you do.

Next day Abirami says to Indu that they need to go see the Doctor since she was to take her the day before. Abirami thinks of the time she spent with Indu. The RK group arrive at Doc's place and the nurse informs the doc, doc says to wait till Abirami comes. Shanti is worried but RK says not to since Abirami will come today.

Abirami ask Indu if she was taken care good and was happy with her. Then they show both having breakfast, Indu seems to be dull and Abirami asks if everything is fine and maid explains she is all ok since she knows everything now. Freezes is Abirami's face

July 10th update in brief.

RK, Raji and shanthi in the clinic for abhi and Indu's arrival. As usual Abhi and Indu arrives with snookish look at shanthi from Abhi and later on Doctor requests only Indu to come to his cabin and tells her to draw any thing she likes. Indu draws a circle and ask the doctor from where the circle starts. The doctor advises that there is no starting point or end you locate in the circle. Immediately he also questions are you inside the circle or outside the circle now .....first slot...break.

Then in the second slot Doctor brings Indu to the waiting room where the family crew waits and Doctor asks Indu would like to go with your mother. Indu pauses for a moment, tension prevails in everybody's face and then comes near Abhi and tells Thanks Periyamma......Abhi bleaks and after that she continues telling that Thanks Periyamma for taking care of me and tells her now and then I will come and meet you , convey my regards to sarasu and nallan etc.

A victory of joy can be seen in shanthi, RK and Raji's face and a big jolt for Abhirami. Immediately they all thank the doctor and move . Shanthi gives one winning look at Abhi while sitting in the car and Indu tells bye bye to Abhi. Abhi is astonished and in anger she takes her car....break

In shanthi's house, priya, narayan , RK , raji everybody is waiting for shanthi and Indu to come in ...as usual priya requests raji to take arathi, Raji tells priya ..you take arathi, arathi is done , Indu asks everybody while this is done for her , immediately Raji scolds Abhirami indirectly that all the eye casts (dirty eye casts ...inn the kannu, kolli kannu, pessassu kannu ellam pokattam...athukuthan) Indu enters the house, Priya shows her happiness telling that Indu after your arrival only the house has lightened up again....shanthi is advised by RK not to speak about Abhirami and also tells her to ring up karthik and inform that Indu is back home. The message is given to the audience that karthik has joined regiment at Ooty..

Abhi drives the car with full speed, crosses the red signal, traffic police notes her car , follows her and then overtakes her car and make her stop the car and scolds her ...checks her driving license, also fines for overspeed, non-wearing belt and for violating the traffic rules . Abhi is asked to pay Rs.1000/-

Shanthi rings up ....Nallan takes the phone,...she thanks nallan for taking care of Indu, feeding her appropriate time , appropriate food etc....blah..blah.. meanwhile Abhirami after paying fine enters the house with full anger, disappointment etc, hearing her car sound nallan rushes to keep the receiver,but caught by Abirami, she asks him what you are making calls in my absence, immediately he answers no it was a wrong number, she scolds both nallan and sarasu that you people are not taking care of the house, you are not working as servants, If I want I can recruit many servants and in anger she climbs up and goes to Indu's room where she stayed. She sees all the dolls and toys in that room and also a think of Indu for a moment, Immediately her face turns red .....freeze...

Here comes the update for 11th July.

First slot. Abhirami is very angry that Indu has gone back, throws all the toys and teddy bears in her room, breaks down and cries,...Indu ennai emathitay...hearing the sound nallan and sarasu looks up for a second. .BREAK

After the break, Kandhu and his associates are assembled in his office, Kandhu is worried and tells them that if some thing happens to me what you people will do, we thought that we will go away to some other country and now it is also blocked by the police. Immediately his assistant, sivakumar tells him that he knows a very good Joshiyar..(horoscope fortune teller) and brings to his office. Joshiyar arrives and tells that Kandhu should have been in trouble for the past six months, financially, morally and physically, it is a wonder that you are surviving and tells that it is only because of one lady's mangalaya balam.... immmediately Kandhu tells I am not married ..how is it is possible.... Joshiyar advises him that the lady is already born..for you..you have just get married and all your problems will be solved..Kandhu is surprised and feels shy (nice to see kandhu's shy) and tells his associates, who will propose me at this age... and where will I search for her. Immediately, sivakumar tells that do not worry about it we will take care. We want Anni, Kandhu is grinning....Next scene .....Abhi is back in her track, yells at sarasu to clean her room, put some air fresher, shouts at nallan that she is getting late, drinks juice and flews off ...to her work.

Now our hero , ACD comes out from a building with a bag (probably from Gym) goes near his car. TN 19 M3399 (his car).(Still the wheel plate is not fixed). There Sivaraman's servant (Janaki) approaches ACD (The one who served tea for RK and sivaraman and also who was the servant in Arjun's house) . ACD is asking her how is she..immediately she praises ACD for his help rendered to her son and to her and also tells that she is ok in sivraman's house. Immediately ACD tells to be extremely careful in sivaraman house as he is a dangerous criminal. He also enquires about priya.. the lady tells that priya is a good girl.,she does her work quietly, no probs at all. Immediately ACD tells that do not tell priya that you know me and take care of her.(Here the message is given to audience that ACD cares for priya and after that incident, he wants to find out the culprit so he has appointed Janaki as servant). ACD moves...He is in casuals with white T shirt and a brown cargo ....Break.

Srinivas and sivaraman meet in a restaurant and srinivas tells that he can trap priya now. A blue colour file is on the table. Sivaraman ask what it is he tells that on the day when priya was attacked by rowdies, her scooty was on road, and when I passed by I opened her dicky and found this file. No body has traced or noticed so far. It is file where charulatha has signed some contract. We will trap priya with us and we will take her away from our way. Sivaraman tells it will months for charulatha to come to India by the time priya will be off. He also takes a tissue paper and tries to sign as charulatha several times in the paper.The message is conveyed to us that a forgery will be conducted against priya .Sivaraman as usual gives his irritating smile for this plan....freeze.

Today's episode so boring and dragging. Neither ACD nor priya appeared in today's episode.

12th July update in brief:

Srinivas confirmed with sivaraman that he can forge like charulatha and can trap priya and sivaraman in turn appreciates him. In RK's house, Madan and RK discuss about bombay share market and while conversing nallan enters, RK thank him for his support in changing Indu's mind, nallan is happy and in modesty tells that it is not only my support but also the support of others like ACD, sarasu, doctor etc. Raji is asked give one set of dhoti and white shirt to nallan, nallan thanks them and tells that I am proceeding to meet Indu at shanthi's house. I like her so much that I want to see her desperately and now proceeding to shanthi's house.

In shanthi's house, Indu is studying and then a calls comes, shanthi tells her to attend the phone, Indu looks through the caller ID and understand it is Abhirami and tells her "periyamma is on line" you speak, Shanthi attends the call and tells that Indu is not at home , she has gone to her friend's house. Abhi does not believe this. While driving she gets another call informing that the meeting for which she is proceeding is cancelled due to labour problems. Immediately she decides to go to shanthi' house to see Indu. Another call comes, irritated shanthi shouts that Indu is not come, later on she comes to know it is Raji..and then through Raji she is informed that nallan will be visiting her place to see Indu. Indu is delighted.

Kandhu is happy about seeking out alliances.Discusses with his friends. His associates show him a big list and he wonders what it is...he tells that many borrowers who are able to pay the money..those people have got good looking daughters..why can we work out on that platform. ..Initially Kandhu hesitates..later on agrees.

In shanthi' s house Nallan arrives, Indu and shanthi delighted, shanthi tells him to have atleast a cup of coffee, and goes to the kitchen. Meanwhile nallan and Indu plays hide and seek. Abhi comes and stops the car, observes nallan is playing with Indu....face turns into anger....freeze
