| Shweta Tiwari, it seems, has made up her mind to file for divorce from her abusive husband Raja Chaudhary.
Shweta has been staying at a relative's house ever since her fight with Raja, and news of Raja abusing her, became public. Her daughter Palak is with her. Apparently, her relatives have convinced her to sever all relations with Raja and move on in life. "Shweta's relatives are not at all happy with the way things have turned out for her. They are also upset about the fact that Shweta has kept quiet about her problems for so long. They know that Raja is jobless and is living off Shweta's money, apart from giving her grief. They have convinced her to go forward with the divorce proceedings," says a friend of Shweta.
Shweta is seriously contemplating the matter. "Shweta filed the complaint because it was too much for her to tolerate. But, she cannot get over with the fact that she loves Raja. She tried her best to save the marriage too. But she knows that there's no end to Raja's drinking, chauvinism and everyday quarrels on money. Another nail in the coffin is Raja's philandering. After a huge showdown on the issue of Dolly Bindra, Raja still continued to with his ways. Shweta now seems to have made up her mind to file for divorce, but wants some more time to think it over," adds the friend.
Shweta has become a recluse and has stopped taking calls too. "We used to speak almost every day on phone. But, she has stopped taking my calls ever since the incident was made public. I guess, she will take time to come out of the terrible situation she is going through now," says a close friend of Shweta.
However, Shweta is still shooting for Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Otherwise vivacious and bubbly, she has stopped interacting with people on the sets too. "Everyone in the crew knows that she is going through a bad phase. She just keeps mum. She just finishes her work quickly and goes back to her daughter," says source on the sets.
WHAT'S WITH RAJA CHAUDHARY ?
Raja Chaudhary seems to have lost the plot, somewhere. Not only did he beat up his wife, he publicly disgraced himself by crossing the line with a reporter who wanted some bytes from him. Insecure and unemployed, Raja knows that it is too late to make amends especially since Shweta, who's the breadwinner of the family, has decided to go ahead with a divorce.
Apparently, he has started acting strangely with his friends too. Says a close friend of Raja, "Raja has realised that whatever he is, is because of his wife. He has been messaging Shweta constantly. In fact, he swears by their daughter Palak to get Shweta back. In fact, he says Shweta can't deprive Palak from a doting father like him. But it's all in vain. He is yet to get any reply to his several messages, from Shweta."
Amongst other things, he has been seen dancing on the streets in a fit of madness singing 'Raja paagal ho gaya'. "I think Shweta's leaving him has made him go crazy," our source adds.
