I think besides the cricket matches there are other contributing factors, they have been showing a lot of AD. JB fans were fed up of being taken for granted, no JB scenes or badly executed JB scenes with body doubles. In addition SBS has said that there would be AD/Pallavi flashbacks, again no one wanted to see. Also the JB scenes were not promoted, so most JB fans stayed away. Good for them, to show BT and ZT that JB fans matter and should not be taken for granted.

OK I am confused. The Thursday episode showed preparations going on in WM for the Pooja and anticipation of Bani's arrival. The situation was left at who will sit with whom in the pooja on Friday and whether Bani comes or not. That in itself is enough anticipation for people who want to see JB together to tune in to KS. AD had only one small scene on Thursday. From that there was no indication that it was going to be flashback time of his life.

I did not see any thread about a Zee promo saying it was going to be AD/Pallav flashback. What SBS promotes does not happen the next day - it is always something about the future. Also SBS does not air on Zee. So I don think the viewers in India would be influenced by what SBS aired for the future.

Just my 2 cents because I am one of the few who feel that JB have lost their chemistry. The comfort factor is missing and the body language of both actors looks very tense whenever they are in the same frame together.

Long time no see. Bani was already in WM on thurday and was sitting in the pooja, after calling Pia a mistress which made my day😆. Don't know about JB magic etc, but I wil say I am sick of the current story. Pia blackmailed for 3 months and now AD. I don't know about others, but I have given up hope on seeing JB on screen. After 3 months of no JB even after heavy JB promotions (reunion promotion ended in the worst kidnapping/hostage scenes with a 2 min dream sequence and second promotion of marriage with 1.5 marriage shown) I doubt people tune in saying I think we will get JB scenes today. Friday episode was a shock where they actually had nice JB scenes after almost 3 months, where there were no body doubles, or it was not a complete dream etc. I did not believe it when I read the update. I was just expecting more blackmailing and gross stuff.

Anyhow KS is tanking, let's see if it survives.

I like your arguments...but the fact is its not just SBS..there was this little article that said that JW will lose all i.e Bani will take kids and go to AD and the storyline will now focus on AD/pallo flashback.

I think I also remember seeing a thread on Kyonki saying RK is expected to make appearance on the 29th (maybe I dreamt this coz Kyonki does not air on fridays) but I know there was anticipation of his entry late last week.

And the last factor, "I will stoop as low as I need to to get Durga" dialogue on thursday.

Now I am not saying that you are wrong about JB...but the fact remains...Body doubles have been in use for a couple weeks now (including on thursday) and given that the layman does not realize it, but even they see the loss of spark...as you said "missing chemistry"

Plus people I know who watched KS and mattered in TRP calculation left since the 1.5 marriages. RR fans stuck around with the hope to see him on the top, but I think the brutal butchering of him last week has also detered them from tuning in. Again, lets not forget his spine chilling dialogue...I will do anything to get Durga back...

I mean even on the forum, if you noticed the hard core AD/RR fans did not comment on the last dialogue from him one way or the other.😕 Only us silly gooses who are not able to give up yet were AGAIN crying hoarse. 😡🤢

Nice to be back home here on IF after a busy 2 days!

Right then, TRPs have sunk again... As everyone is mentioning, this is mainly down to cricket kicking in. Cricket is almost like a religion over in India and therefore things like TV shows and even movies get neglected when cricket enters the picture.

Therefore I don't think that Ekta ji will be worrying too much at the moment. But hey Radha, it's kinda funny (in a nice way though 😊 ) that you mentioned KS being taken off air! 😆

Of course, the most important thing (good storylines) is missing in KS right now... so that again probably is a contributing factor in the drop. TRPs were good and quite consistent until now (around 5-8), but I wouldn't be surprised if the weak conclusion to the "Toorky" raaz has led to TRP drops even after the cricket is over and done with.

Right now, I can't really think of anything that can quickly boost TRPs in short time... the story would have to have something spectacular (along with great promotion) to get interest from casual viewers once again.

Let's just wait and see if the AD full on evil turn along with the Walia barbaadi storyline does anything for the show or not...

Souten perhaps solving Sahil murder case would bring TRP's back then perhaps we can move forward and look forward to some good story lines like Mango said.

maybe I am the only one...but I for some reason do not agree that the problem was the match...coz another show was in the top 5 for the time slot as KS...
Also other zee shows did not get affected...so the blame lies with KS...and its current state...

I agree Rivya ji that the current state of KS definitely part of the reason why KS sank so far. 👍🏼

I personally think that as well as the cricket are the reason why KS has suffered more than the other shows.

The Toorky raaz was soooooooo lame... it was shockingly bad! 😆

Unfortunately I personally cannot see any quick way out of the current mess... 😕

but i seriously doubt it'll go off air... 😕
if you think about it,
surprisingly, there are shows that are much worse than kasamh se and they're still on air...
so don't need to worry about it going off air anytime soon
