It was jealousy all around today from Manik, Alya and Mukti😆. I will start with Dhruv today because there was a significant progress from his side, infact today he was an active participant rather than passively watching by the sidelines.
I loved how Dhruv was quite restless to meet Nandini and made an excuse to go meet her. Manik wasnt far behind, he couldn't sit still and wanted to go meet her too😆😆, I like Dhruv's naughty side, the need to go meet Nandu, the small smile after the trip and catch, him apologising to Nandu and his promise not to remain on the sidelines after remaining so in the previous days. And then the subsequent saving her from drowning. All-around adorable Dhruv was today!
Manik is also a changed man to some extent where Nandu is concerned, Manik kind of almost melted in the first scene when Nandu says please, he actually looks down, if I am not mistaken and of course Harshad's taunt about Nandu doesn't sit too well with him, I don't think he likes the idea of Nandu being friends with Harshad too much. Also he told Cabit to back off from Rishabh, so he has changed a bit where Nandu is concerned but he can't admit to himself or anyone else that h is attracted to her so he wraps up his attraction into obsession and ego
Manik was also restless to go meet Nandu, I still wont say he's in love with her but he is drawn to her quite intensely and its been obvious from the beginning, the crowding of her physical space, the need to be around all the time, the need for her attention😆 and he hates being told no by Nandu, and like someone mentioned, he could have easily kicked her out of the college but at some level this guy is drawn to her but right now his ego is bigger than this attraction. Manik watching Nandu and Dhruv had a lot of intensity to it, so I don't think it was just concerned about Dhruv and I really dont think Manik thinks Nandu will hurt Dhruv, he knows very well how affected she is by Rishabh's illness and considering he himself has a found a heart with regards to Rishabh, I don't think that it was so much concern for Dhruv as a worry that someone else has a chance to get close to Nandii while he has to stay away from her😆
The funniest scene for me was Dhruv watching Nandini, Manik watching Dhruv watching Nandini and Alya watching Manik watching Nandini...what a khichdi this is😆
Like predicted, the two girls Alya and Mukti will have issues with the girls longer than anyone else and I guess Cabir not knowing Dhruv and Manik's equation with Nandu will go along with the girls. So Nandu and Navya are going to be troubled by these 3, and Dhruv will come to Nandu's rescue directly and Manik will indirectly and not in an obvious way. He looked ready to jump into the pool and save Nandu and Alya recognised it too, by the way she came and restrained him.
I would feel sorry for a girl like Alya, if she wasnt such a mean person. Its hard to see a relationship of 7 years tottering because of the arrival of a newbie in their lives. Also to her mind, Nandini is executing some plan by attracting the boys, her boyfriend, her brother and also Dhruv.
I loved Dhruv and Manik's talk with regards to Nandu, Manik is uncomfortable enough to ask and Dhruv is not ready to talk about his new-found feelings. Neither of the guys are going to sacrifice and neither should. Respect love enough to fight for it and let Nandu choose who she loves.
Overall a good episiode
