She could hear his soft breathing behind her back. She couldn't resist herself from turning towards him.
He was lying on his back, beside her, eyes closed. His one hand was on his forehead and one was on his stomach.
Turning sideways, she raised herself, adjusted her body on her elbow and took a closer look at him. She could see his side profile.
She remembered those days when they had first met. Their first dance. Their first kiss...
His hand that was resting on his stomach, she could feel it's touch on her bare stomach, when he had circled her from behind and has danced with her couple of years back. That day, that time, Their bodies were so close, that there was no space for even air also between them.
Her eyes trailed upwards towards his face.
Even with his eyes closed she could visualize his passion filled eyes piercing right through her soul.
His perfect nose.
His lips. Those lips that had kissed her for the first time on that terrace. Those soft lips, could kiss so passionately.
He sensed her eyes on him. He opened his eyes and looked at her. She was so close to him. So close.
She inched towards him, not taking her eyes from his lips.
She realized that he was awake. She looked in his eyes. They kept gazing in each other's eyes, when suddenly she...
