I have held myself back from contributing to these discussions regarding Divyanka's acting skills; there has been so much negativity on this forum recently. The part I have highlighted sums it all up, as far as I am concerned. I think a lot of people are finding it difficult to accept the development in Ishita's character, and this is important for the progression of the story. I realise a lot of people are very passionate about the show, but sometimes this results in the fans becoming aggressive and hostile if the story does not progress in a manner that satisfies them. This show is absolutely beautiful and unconventional in every way; without Divyanka and Karan, the show would have never attained such popularity and accolades!

Great post indeed she was gud in all the scenes so far for me. Having said that I agree only flaw with her is that her Tamil diction is not upto d mark but knowing her m sure she will work towards it.
Ppl hv problems wid Neena Kulkarnis character she is so OTT but thts how d director /makers has asked her to portray not her fault i hv seen her marathi movies (comedy tragedy all shades) n she is awesome in it. Even her Tamil is not perfect but she too is working towards it.
I think we all human beings are flawed in some way or other I believe in looking at d gud things n ignoring minor flaws. Divyanka is truly a star of d show 😳 YHM is a great show n all d ppl r doing a gud job including off camera ppl. 👍🏼

Thanks for your comments dear 😊Agreed that her Tamil might do with some improvement but yaar the family has been staying in Delhi for many years where Hindi is the main language. Plus to get Tamil diction right is far more demanding than a Punjabi dialect and since Ishita rarely uses Tamil in the show it can be ignored. But for her to get all the dialects perfect, is a bit far fetched if not impossible!
