Part 13

" mom she is not picking the phone... I don't know where is she?" Shlok tried to call her again and again but he found it difficult to contact her. Anjali agnihotri tried to pecify him

"Shlok look dear ... you are only going for 3 days so please lets go... we are getting late dear..." Anjali said to him.

"but she will be anxious if she will not find me with her..." he became adamant to contact.

"but dear you already told her that you have to catch the flight so I am sure she will not be sad or anxious don't worry and come before we miss the flight..." she made her best effort to convince him.

"oh yes mom you are right she know but I want to talk to her..." Shlok replied.

"Aastha why don't you pick my phone always... you made it your habit... I will talk to you after my return..." he told in himself but Anjali heard his words and thought in her mind

"she could not pick your call and I know why..." she moved out from the room while Shlok also followed her.

"mrs Agnihotri... your son has suffering from integration disorder... he imagines the thing around him and too lost in his world of imagination..." Doctor panel informed her. she shaken for some moment but controlled herself and asked

"you mean to schizophrenia ?" she asked in low voice.

" yes you can say it schizophrenia but this renamed as integration disorder now..." Doctor told her.

"so what is the possibilities of cure..." she asked in worried voice. She prayed inside if doctor said that he can be cured.

"look mrs. Agnihotri you people left him in dangerous stage. He is on the verge of his disease so this is only one way..." Doctor said to her.

"what is the way?" she asked impatiently

"we have to apply on him shock therapy with medication..." doctors told her. she became anxious to hear about shock therapy.

"what kind of shock Doctor?" she asked in frighten voice.

"we have to tell him about the difference of real and illusion... he should know what he think is all fake and there is no connection of those thoughts with real life..." doctor described in clear way. Her face became pale

"but doctor he will be shattered by this..." she asked in scared tone

"but mrs Agnihotri this is the only process which we can apply on him yes we know that it was risky but we have to take this risk if you want him to see normal..." the doctor said.

"and how much chances of this?..." she asked in unsure way

"50-50..." doctor words made her surprised or devastated

"what do you mean by 50-50 doctor?" she asked in trembling voice.

"we want to tell you that 50% chances are if he can be normal and 50% chances of completely lose of his mind..." the doctor said

"ok doctor I will think about that and will tell you..."she said and left the room silently with heavy heart.

Everything was blurred for her. she could not decide what was right or wrong. If she allowed to doctor for the therapy she could lose his son but was she really had her son. He was not her son but some other person who lived in his own fantasy world. He imagined his surroundings.

She decided to allow for the treatment to doctors. She went again to the doctor and asked about the procedure.

"mrs. Agnihotri you are the one whom he know so you will tell him about his imaginative things. Only you can help us to break his illusion..." Doctor told her and she became agree with heavy heart. She wanted her son best. She wished to god

"please save my son if you are anywhere..." her lips prayed.

This was the third day and Shlok was restless. He was trying again and again the number of her Aastha but in vein. Anjali came silently and noticed his anxiety. He looked at her and told

"mom this is enough... I want to go back to home..." he told in very stubborn tone

"why?.." she asked in thoughtful manner. It was the moment of big blast. She made herself ready for all this from while.

"she didn't pick my call... I want to meet her immediately..." he made her weak by his pleaded tone

"look Shlok I want to tell you something very important... you have to be patience for this because it will change your life forever..." she said in very careful way

"what is it mom... is this related to her..." he asked in scared tone if she told him about something drastic .

"yes I want to say that there is no one in your life... there is no girl in your life..." she made herself strong

"are you joking mom... how can you say this when even you also met her several times... you wanted to tease me but it is not a good time...I am already upset that she doesn't take my call..." he asked in very reluctant way

"she doesn't pick your call because she doesn't exist in your life in real... you just imagine her all the time..." she told him in strong voice and tried to make him realize the things.

"oh god what happen to you mom..." he looked her in frustration

"she met with you several times in hospital... and other place... you know she is swati sister..." he shouted

"who? Swati? I don't know any swati ?" she shouted back

"unbelievable now just stop it..." he was startled on her words.

"now you will say that you don't know kirloskar's and their home... don't you remember I told you about their death..." he looked her in furious way.

"no I don't know anything what you tell... I just know one thing that this is all your imagination..." she tried to show him mirror again

"oh mom please just shut up now I am already very upset ... don't make me more ..." he turned his face in other side.

"ok if you are right then tell me why she doesn't pick your call..." she pulled his arms and forced him to face her. she knew it will be most difficult time for her.

"I don't know but you are wrong ..." he became devastated

"look this is the house where you always goes to meet your imaginary love is our old house... it is only your house... no one is there... you met with accident due to your imaginary Swati... your are living the absolutely dream life which never can be real..." she tried to wake him up from his lie.

"mom I made her mine... how can you say that she is not real... I felt her in my arms... I live with my every moment how can you say that she is my dream... how can it be possible..." he became puzzled on her revelation

"this is because of integration disorder which hold your mind and body... you are suffering from this disease from many years... but now it is turning dangerous that's why I took you here for your treatment..." she opened the secret in front of him as per doctor advice. Sometimes the truth made you more strong and you should have to face it.

"but mom everything cannot be fake... how can it be possible... swati and Aastha were identical sisters... swati met with accident due to me and then you hired Aastha for me... was all that fake??" he broke down

"yes all that was fake because there was no swati in our life in our office even you can check the old records and I never hired Aastha for you in hospital you can enquire in hospital about that and she has not existence in your life even in our life ... look dear you need to be treated and come out from this situation... I need you and you are my life..." she tried to make him understand.

He didn't become maniac as she thought due the medicine which doctor gave him in his food.

The medicine control his behavior and made him calm.
