A civil suit has sought a ban on the poster and release of PK in which Aamir Khan appears in a nude pose.

It is likely to come up for hearing in a civil court on Tuesday, according to social activist Hemant Patil who has filed the suit.

The suit appeals for a permanent injunction from the court from releasing the film in India with a ban on publicity material featuring the nude picture of Aamir Khan until the objectionable scenes are removed.

The defendants are Censor Board office bearers, actor Aamir Khan, film's producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani.

According to the suit, the nude poster, which has been circulated all over, is vulgar and obscene and has the tendency to corrupt the minds of the people. This poster is being spalshed in newspapers and television and is also on the Internet since last one month, the plaintiff claimed.

The plaintiff said that Aamir, who is a good actor and host of a popular TV show, has a clean image. However, by appearing nude in the poster for the sake of publicity, he has done a 'shameful' act and should withdraw such obscene images immediately.

The Supreme Court had last week dismissed a Public Interest Litigation, which sought a ban on the exhibition of the film's posters in which a naked Aamir stands on rail tracks.

The apex court opined, "If you don't like them, don't watch the film but don't bring religious facets in it," adding that, "these are matters of art and entertainment and let them remain so." - Agencies

The courts need to lend them a dictionary, so that they can understand the meaning of the word nude.

would it have been better if he was in his underwear? These things make me wonder what century we are living in. You did not see his junk that is all that matter. You have seen more exposure than that.

Is it his body that scares you? or is it the idea of being nude?

Its the idea of being nude. He is not really nude and nothing is really showing. He probably is wearing an underwear.
