Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were once in a relationship and it seems had they still been together, the two Bollywood stars would have made the sexiest couple alive.

A recent survey conducted by Hindustan Times on the nation's youth reveals that Salman Khan is the sexiest man alive and his former girlfriend Katrina Kaif is the sexiest woman alive.

Youth Survey 2014 conducted by Hindustan Times took some popular male celebrities and some female celebrities, both from Bollywood and Hollywood, and according to the nation's youth actor Salman Khan is the sexiest man and actress Katrina Kaif is the sexiest woman in the world.

The survey included Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Johhny Depp, Brad Pit, Robert Drowney Jr, Robert Pattinson and Daniel Craig in the man category while, the woman list included Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, Bipasha Basu, Angelina Jolie, Chitranga Singh, Beyonce and Alia Bhatt.

While, Kick actor Salman Khan won the race in man category with an average score of 36 percent, Dhoom 3 actress Katrina Kaif was voted as the sexiest woman with an average score of 34 percent.

36 percent male respondents of the survey voted Salman as the sexiest man and the same percent of female respondents opined the same.

In case of Katrina Kaif, 28 percent male respondents voted the actress as sexiest and 39 percent female respondents did the same.

Interestingly, Salman has beat Katrina's current supposed boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor by a margin of seven percent as Ranbir secured immediate next position with an average of 29 percent.

On the other side, Katrina defeated Deepika Padukone by a double margin of 14 percent as Deepika scored an average of 19 percent which is the immediate next score.
