Manish changes his surname

Manish Raisinghani, currently seen in Sasural Simar Ka, has changed his surname from Raisinghani to Raisinghan.

The actor was advised by a numerologist to drop the 'i' from his surname. Says he, "My first encounter with numerology has made me drop the last 'i' from my surname. And since I am not too much of an 'I, me, myself person', dropping that 'i' didn't hurt much. As an actor, it's difficult to change your name or spelling as everyone knows you by that name, but I hope that the transition is smooth and I shall get used to it."
