Thanks for opening the thread. Very appropriate captioned! I'm in awe - you have such a way with acrostic. 👏Thank you so much and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
I'm copying my comments from another post here:
What Myrah did was typically kiddish? Not knowing the background or pleading ignorance is not going to fly in my books. Clearly she overstepped her boundaries as a guest in the Ranawat house. What's strange is that Samrat was the voice of reason this time round instead of Maithili. She was quick to reprimand Myrah and telling her off that she did not have the right to run roughshed over someone's emotions. Maithili was bang on yesterday and today. Samrat is proving to be a strong character every day.😛
Hell Myrah is the only one in the dark here, blissfully ignorant of the facts. What I like though is Myrah was quick to accept that she was wrong and had no reservation to offer an apology. She knows that she went overboard and spit out to Rudra and for some inexplicable reason he appears to draw the worst out of her. I also like how she went out of her way to apologize.
Rudra's retaliation on the other hand was not justifiable. He has always been quick to pass judgment be it Paro in the initial phase of their relationship and now Myrah. What was even more baffling was his higher than thou lecture on the meaning of marriage - coming from someone who took 8 vachans to make life hell for Paro, whether he meant it or not is irrelevant. He shouldn't have gone that far.
But he is hurt and he is throwing verbal arsenal onto Myrah and hurting her where it hurts. His outburst felt out of place for some odd reason - what does he care one way or another how she chooses to get married unless Myrah has some dark deep secret which the creatives are planning on using to justify Rudra and Myrah milaap. Brilliantly said.
Two things that stood out for me: (1) When Paro was accused of the attempt on Dilsher - Maithili took the high road. Today again, Maithili took the high road. (2) In the Jaipur track, Rudra pulled Paro's leg over her alleged drinking. He was goading; With Myrah too, he first goaded her and then laughed at her expense. Thanks for reminding us.
Tenns (not sure how I should address you), your post jogged a memory. You can call me Tenne or Tn. It doesn't matter.😊
During the Teej, Paro was fasting. Rudra was about to feed her the ladoo when Maithili said that they have to be offered to God first before anyone can eat. Here's Myrah said it to Maithili. Thanks for reminding that it was Maithili who said this.
I liked how Myrah question Rudra - "Why? Why do you hate me so much?" This is the million dollar questions that leads to more questions. If it is tormenting him so much, why not reveal the truth to her, if she has apologies and is willing to do anything to ease the pain and suffering, what makes him think that she won't leave the havali. What is he really afraid of? It's got nothing to do with letting her in? Get someone else to tell her. What are the odds that her own portrait may trigger some memory or open the Pandora box? If he tells her it wouldn't be so painful and she would understand too instead of pulling pranks.
The odd thing that I found today was her saying sorry to Rudra for hurting him when she was alone. The other was telling him she'd go and undo the past. Say what? It set me thinking too.
UR - thank you for the pm. Awesome collages as usual. A couple of your quotes noteworthy mentioned here:⭐️
Your quote (or Shannon Adler, if you'd like) - "after every storm, there is a rainbow..." This past week was very tame, the calm before the storm. Today there was Rudra's Tandev. So are we in for a storm next week?😕
"Some old wounds never truly heal, and bleed again at the slightest word" - Jogged a memory. During Rudra-Mala phase-off, Paro was telling Dilsher that it while Rudra was blasting his mother, he was unknowing undoing the stitches to his wound that has not yet healed. His phase-off with Myrah today highlighted that he has not healed. I'm at the end of my rope. I don't know where RR is headed. The salient Parud scenes are being reenacted and Myrah is the catalyst.
Opps! It's a long post 😲. Never knew I had so much to get off my chest! 🤔
Hi Pari- Brilliant post and my response in blue. Please do write in detail. I loved your take.😊
