Secondly, m sorry if u find this part slow..I mean, m sure u understand that the Randhir and Sanyukta in my ff, are not already in love, neither do they already know each other...so they need to develop a strong bond from scratch...and so, they cannot just start trusting and loving each other...It has to be slow and graduall..I hope ul understand what m saying...Ok, enough of my bakwaas! xD
10.Your Suffering hurts me...
She got up from the bed, sleep miles away from her. She just could not understand what wrong had she done by simply questioning Randhir about something that seemed to her pretty casual, though deep down, she was certain that Randhir in no way, found the matter "casual." Atleast his sudden outburst and his absence from the past 2 hrs, said so. It was 1 in the night, but Randhir was no where in sight. She again lay on the bed, trying hard to sleep. She could not let a guy affect her soo much!! Fine he was angry, he screamed at her, and she was really concerned for him along with being hurt for his behaviour, but that did not mean she would sacrifice her sleep for him! Oh god! What on earth was happening to her!
He stared at the sky, his eyes cold as ice, the roaring of the waves the only sound he could hear. No that was a lie. That was the only audible sound he could hear. In his mind, he could also hear Sanyukta's broken and hurt voice, for which he was responsible. He knew he should not have shouted at her like that. She did not deserve it. She was just concerned after all! But that monster in him was unable to control himself, for the topic she had touched, was too sensitive a matter for him. He had never ever spoken about it to anyone, not even his best friend
Jiggy. It was only Kabir, who knew about the nightmares, though Randhir had never opened up to him either!
He really wanted to apologize to her for his behaviour, but, he feared, she might again resort to her interrogation, thus, making him decide otherwise. Though he had really misjudged Sanyukta there, as she had already decided to not talk about this issue altogether, her main criteria being, she did not want to anger him unnecessarily. If she was important enough for him, he would confide in her by himself. She did not want to force him.
He walked towards the hotel, hoping Sanyukta would have fallen asleep by now.
She shut her eyes tight upon hearing the door open, pretending to sleep. There was no way she wished to face Randhir! She did not want to. Or rather she could not. Yes, she wanted to give him time and space, but she was hurt, and her expressive eyes along with her aching heart, would definitely convey that to him, something she did not want to happen.
She did not want to make him aware of the kind of affect he had on her.
While Randhir changed into a t-shirt, and settled right besides her, his hand wrapping themselves around her waist, her back pressed against his stomach. He knew he had hurt her, her body language was the proof, along with her tear stained face. He placed soft kisses on her neck, as though apologising, certain that Sanyukta was not asleep. Sanyukta just placed her hands above his, accepting the apology, but did not turn around to face him, and they did not even realise when they dozed off.

"Ur up soo early?" Sanyukta, on opening her eyes, was surprised to see Randhir enter the room in tshirt and track pants, completely soaked in sweat.
"Haa woh...Vidhushi wanted to just have a walk around Marine lines..u Knw..soo..." Randhir did not once look into her eyes, knowing
that accompanying Vidhushi would definitely not go down too well with Sanyukta. He did not enjoy it too! But he just wanted sometime to think about how exactly should he be facing Sanyukta.
"Ohh...acha..." was all Sanyukta said, before walking into the wash room, and shutting the door tight. After last night, she did not want to interfere in his life at all, not wanting to stress him further. Yes, he had apologised for his behavior, but still, she did not want to make things more messier than they already were. She wanted to let him get back to normal, which would ultimately result in them getting back to normal.
Randhir stared at the door she had just shut, mentally kicking himself for doing all the things that pissed Sanyukta off even more! He could clearly see she was not her usual self, though she did not seem to be angry either, making it very difficult for him to guess his next course of action.
And the entire day, just passed with Randhir trying to figure out whether to talk to Sanyukta or not, where as Sanyukta, in the attempt
to give him some space, avoided him completely. What a waste of a badly desired holiday!

She lay on one side of the bed, while he lay on the other, occasionally stealing glaces at Sanyukta, who was busy playing some stupid
game in her phone. Tired, she finally decided to call it a day, and switched off the lights.
Randhir too settled down, snuggling close to her, her back resting on his stomach.
"Good night!" He whispered in her ears, buried his head in her neck, and wrapped his hands around her waist.
"Good night!" SHe smiled.
She opened her eyes, disturbed due to the continuous movement, and felt Randhir restless, shaking his head, trying to stop the nightmare he was having. She quickly turned around to face him, and placed her lips on his, while her hand stroked his cheek, the other hand
entangling itself in his hair, relaxing him abit. She backed out, thinking he was completely asleep again, but was proved wrong, when he got up with a jerk, beads of sweat on his forehead, his hands tightly clutching hers. She too sat upright, staring into his eyes, with concern.
Sanyukta was shocked too see the emotions his eyes reflected- that of a scared kid, from whom, his loved ones would b snatched any moment!
She felt her heart break into a million pieces on seeing the fear and pain in his eyes...Now she knew why he did not want to talk about this nightmare of his...coz it was bad...really bad! She could see it in his eyes! She soo badly wanted to take all his fears and pain away.
She wanted to kiss him, caress him, and assure him, that she was right here for him, with him.
"Randhir kya ..." He did not even let her complete her sentence, and engulfed her in a tight hug, his hands gripping her waist.
"Randhir...its...its ok..." She began caressing his back lovingly. She could not believe she was witnessing such a sight- Randhir , the arrogant
strong headed jerk, was trembling in pain and fear.. This was definitely one of those sights, she wished god never let her witness once again her entire life time!
"Sanyukta...i...she...wanted...help...they...i..couldn't help her..and they.." He shut his eyes, his voice breaking, lips shivering, and his hold on her waist tightened.
Sanyukta gently broke the hug to cup his face, but he immediately engulfed her again, scared that she might just run away from him if
he left her. Sanyukta felt the tears flow through her eyes, seeing her Randhir in such a vulnerable state was making her feel so weak!
"Randhir...its just a nighmare..." She whispered in his ear, kissing it.
"No Sanyukta...It...isnt...a...nightmare..." He broke the hug to look into her eyes, and was surprised too see the amount of care and concern they wore! Inspite of his rude behaviour towards her, she still cared about him, his feelings, his pain...He felt soo...soo..safe at the moment.
He had someone , to look after him...He had someone, who, inspite of his rude behaviour would be there for him...Suddenly, he felt like he could trust her with his life, and she would not let him down! Looking into her eyes, he whispered,
"It is a part of my past..."
Sanyukta just stared at him in horror. The nightmares that managed to scare his sleep away were a part of his past?! They were real?! No no! The couldn't be real! They shouldn't be real!
All of a sudden, her heart began pacing, she was beginning to feel very very weak. She did not want to see her Randhir broken. SHe did not want to hear the pain he went through...Ofcourse she wanted to help him out, she wanted to release all his pain! But...she was scared...what if he was hurt very badly?
What if he went through a lot of pain? How would she be able to bear the pain of her Randhir going through pain!! She mentally kicked herself for addressing Randhir , as "her Randhir" , though there was nothing wrong in it.
He had to let it out...he had to pour his heart out, to atleast, sleep in peace!
She gently began caressing his face, "Randhir...m right here..." She whispered, softly placing her lips on his. Though she broke the kiss
immediately when she felt the salty taste of tears on her lips. Upon looking up, she realised the Randhir Singh Shekawat , was crying...
