Not for women, like today Myrahs prank is inexcusable but Rudra's rudeness has an excuse cause he is suffering from his loss...not just now even with Paro was the same thing...only at that time he was suffering cause his mother left him and his dad when he was young so that gives him all the rights to be rude, brash and unapologetic for his behaviour.
I sometimes don't get the way indian tv projects the male character...all in the name of suffering and intensity the male character can be abusive and rude to women but because of his suffering and loss he can act childish by ordering everyone around him, while if the female character suffers she has to face it, let it go or cry her eyes out...

I think many agree both Myrah & Rudra were equally wrong today.

look I am not saying whose fault it is, but if suffering is the key for an excuse than Paro had all the excuse to be rude and brash right, but it's the way male character is shown on indian tv that I can't understand...

I agree. This happens with every show.
Male character is always supported more than female specially on IF.

My two or three years on IF has educated me enough to know that girls love the MC so they symphatise with them but than again usually in real life guys with such problems are not that rude.

It's also because the male characters are written with more depth and meat than their female counterparts. In IPKKND, Arnav's troubled past was used as the justification to treat Khushi like dirt, while Khushi, also having gone through so much pain, went with the flow. It's the same concept in Indian TV and Bollywood - the males have juicy roles, while the female leads are either furniture or are huge pillars for the men, but aren't delved into much.

Actually I tend to see other way, ML characters are not written in depth, if you see besides their childhood suffering and being rude they don't have much emotions to show, like look at Khusi's character she had so much to do than Arnav but I think we feel that way cause the pain is shown in every episodes

In most shows the male lead is always brash and rude especially to the female lead, mainly because they want to show how love changes people. We always see the angry young men become soft and gentle and the flirtatious Casanova types become a one woman man. Its just a cliche. For some reason the makers of the most love stories think that nice guys are not attractive and them falling in love is not entertaining. The only shows which are different in this are the family dramas where the male lead has a mother who adores him, sisters, brothers and grandmothers who dote on him.
