Both were sitting next to each other with an I-don't-care attitude trying hard to focus on the competition. She was busy doing the final revision while he was playing in his cell phone.
"Hi.. I'm Jake.." a guy forwarded his hand standing front of kriyansh desk. Immediately rey's head lifted up watching this. She saw jake a giving so-what look.. putting his hands down Jake said "Your name??"
kriya replied rudely "Chudail.."š”
jake's face fell and walked away.. Rey was literally jumping inside with a wide smile on his face as jake was the guy who had commented "Sexy" seeing at kria when she arrived.. ššKria turned to rey he immediately bent down and focused back to her books smiling silently.
The Quiz Master(QM) announced "So let's begin.. totally there are 15 teams and only 10 will be selected for the next round depending on the scores.. Each round contains 2 questions..". He also explained the rules. So Rey and Kria were a team now and they were waiting excited for the quiz to begin.. Their team was given the name "Dazzlers". Both liked that name.
(I'm mentioning only rey's and kria's introduction)
QM: So participants please introduce yourselves.
Contestant 14: Hello everyone.. A very good morning to one and all present here..
I'm Kria Ghai.. Representing St.Louis.. Class X.š
Rey was curious to know her name and he repeated..." Kria... Kria Ghai.. She is.. My...". He was lost in his thoughts. Kriya shook his shoulder's "Excuse Me..".. "Hellooo.." . He was busy watching her.. he was soo happy feeling her hands touch him.. "Ur intro.." she pointed out.š³š³
"I'm Rey.. Reyansh.. Reyansh Singhania..." He said looking into her eyes.. she too was looking into his eyes.. The whole crowd's eyes were on kriyansh.. She replied "Which School..?" His quick reply "St.Xavier's"š³
The QM alerted them. Mr.Reyansh everyone need's your into not only partner.. Both felt embarrassed and put their eyes down.. Quiz started..
Round 1: Current Affairs (Score 10)
Both were sitting seriously. They wanted to answer first without giving each other a chance..As soon as the questions were asked both shouted the answer back in unison which made the quiz master jump from his place.. "Relax.. it's the right answer.." QM said.. Both were happy..šš
Round 2: Who's who (Score 20)
As soon as the question was asked kria the answer as quick as fire not giving him a chance.. Rey just kept looking at her and yuss it was the right answer..š
Round 3:Audio-Visual Round(Score 20)
Some clips were shown and this time Rey answered not letting Kria. She kept quiet as it was the right answer.š
Round 4: Do or Die(Score 50)
This was an important round. Only if you answer all 5 questions correctly you will go to the final round else out of the game. Only 1 of them should answer that is whoever presses the buzzer first.. Both Rey and Kria reached on the buzzer together.. rey's hand was on top of Kria's who was holding the buzzer.. He felt her tiny fingers..š³ both of them staring into each other's eyes..Their small eye lock was broken by the QM. Kria answered all the questions and they got their perfect score.. both faces were filled with happiness.šš
Round 5: Rapid Fire(Score 100)š²
There were 10 questions. As soon as the QM started shooting the questions she was about to answer.. suddenly Rey took Kria's hand's below the desk and started making small designs on her soft palms.. She felt those sparks when he touched her.. a little more now.. her heart beat paced slowly.. She was admiring him... while he was busy answering the questions. When he was done he turned towards her.. Now he got to know his touched had an impact on her.. He stopped making designs and slowly squeezed her hand.. she felt a shiver pass through her spine..He winked at her.. She was back to reality.. She withdrew her hands and turned front..He had that naughty smile on his face.š³
QM announced "So the winner of the quiz competition is team dazzler's.. Reyansh and Kria.. Congratulation's.. And the runner's up are team Avenger's.. Congrat's Jake and Sam..So the top 10 scorers go ahead with the other event's. You may all leave now and assemble back after 2 hour's break".
Everyone came and congratulated Rey and Kria.. and all left.. Rey came to Kria and whispered near her ear's "Congrat's Miss Hyper.. we both make good partner's".. Kria replied.. "Same to you Duffer.. and yuss good quiz partners.."š she gave a naughty smile and walked away..š

So in the two hour's break.. Kria was sitting alone in the canteen with sandwich on the table..Book in one hand and fiddling with her pain in other hand touching her lip's sometimes.. moving those hair's with the pen which was playing in front of her eye's.. Rey who was busy staring at her.. took out his cell and started clicking pic's of her's.. Something blocked his len's.. he looked up to see Jake standing near Kria.. Jake was about to touch Kria while she scolded and walked away angrily.. she dropped her pen and did'nt notice it.. Rey picked it up.. It was a parker pen with a silver design on it.. It was a nice one.. He could smell her fragrance through that pen.. He felt wonderful.. He softly kissed it..šš

2 hour's later...
All assembled for the pick and speak competition.. they were given topics but not related to academic's... they wanted to know how they think about few things in their life.. Rey came to Kria and asked "Are you Okay?" she just nodded her head without meeting his eyes. He wished her "All the best " and went to his place.. It was individual participation and this time Rey and Kria were sitting opposite to each other.. (It's not exactly pick and speak as they gave their own topivs ti individuals observing them).
Rey's topic... "Your opinion about true love" (he was given this topic as they had observed him to be a heart throb of gal's there"
Rey answered..
True love for me is... He said the poem which he had written..š
