CVs convo going somewhat like this while planning the Atifa Khyber tracks.
CV1 -Mirchi war got us best TRPs but viewers are upset about how we showed Jalal. The next track has to be about Jalal and his solving the plot.
CV2 - Agree, but what can we come up with? We got highest TRPs during Ben track when Jalal cried! We have to somehow show him cry.
CV1 - but how can we get him to cry when he is so happily in love with Jodha and expecting twins. Happy tears don't get TRPs.
CV2- how if we bring another Ben track? Get someone to trap Jalal and he does not fall for her and reveals the track? That will make him look good.
CV1- but how can we bring another Ben? Jalal had got "dhakka" then. Won't it look odd now when he is happy with Jodha.
CV2 - so then we will bring some plot so that he can get angry with Jodha.
CV1 - during pregnancy? Won't that make him look bad husband?
CV2 - So what? As long as at the end of the track he can cry we will get TRPs!
CV1 - we can't show romance angle but we can use Jodha's soft heart. Like she pardoned Shehnaz. How about we bring a king kong story so he can fall for her, kidnap her?
CV2 - that will be great then we can show reason for Jalal to get angry with Jodha and rage and insult her. Ekta Madam loves heroine insulted.
CV1 - then Jalal can freely romance the new woman and at the end of the track we will say he knew it and make him look intelligent by unmasking the woman.
CV2 - Yes then if we show Jodha on death bed we can show Jalal cry buckets. Good for TRPs.
CV3 - Viewers will hate this they do not want to see anybody come between Jalal and Jodha. Shouldn't Jalal be happy now with Jodha pregnant, getting waris and he should be shown attentive and loving taking care of her like Jalal promised her.
CV1&2 - you are new? Don't you know how this works! - we have to show viewers what they hate then only they curse and watch till we do it right. Then when we show lollypop scenes also they don't mind.
Why do you think we never showed MA downfall and Ruk bhandafod? Cos the viewers then can curse them and wait and wait and wait for us to show that. Jalal can insult Jodha freely in this track, romance another woman, Jodha will cry and crying is good for TRPs. Then king kong can kidnap her and Jalal can even fight him. Viewers were angry with us cos we did now show Jalal fight in mirchi war. Now he can fight.
