I know you all must be angry with me for not updating so long
But my bad luck that got held up with my official work that I couldn't find time for myself too.😭 😭

Part-9
A wedding is a most auspicious occasion. That two people have found each other and are willing to commit to spend their lives together is nothing short of a miracle. This event is a time of unparalleled joy. There are many different styles of weddings based on the traditions of the families involved. Of all occasions, weddings and funerals are probably the occasions where traditions are most observed. These are time when we mark our relationship to life. At a wedding we celebrate the beginning of the forming of a new family.
So now let's begin the journey of Maan and Geet.
He is the half part of a blessed man,

Day of marriage :-
(I don't know much about marriage rituals in hindu customs. Only seen on TVs. So writing the scenes that i could remember. If anything is wrong, I'm sorry for that)
The marriage ceremony is going to take place in Geet's place where all the relatives, family friends, and many people were invited to join the celebration. Medias were also there.
Geet was in her room getting ready while Priya and Annie are helping her with all the teasing.
Maan's family are busy taking care of the guests and Geet's parents are looking after the arrangements. They wanted everything to be perfect and why not!! it's The Great Maan Singh Khurana's and their laadli daughter Geet Handa's wedding which they eagerly waited for all these years to happen.
Ajay was very friendly to Maan and he helped him to get ready and Maan too found him like a brother. While they were chatting, Panditji called the bridegroom to come to the mandap.
After reaching the Mandap, he sighed in relief hoping it would end soon and he can be with Geet but poor boy was caught with this Panditji who was testing his patience.
Maan was sitting in front of the sacred fire, chanting mantras that Panditji has asked him to repeat after him which he couldn't even pronounce properly and Panditji was also fast in saying those Mantras. He was listening to panditji carefully and was having very hard time in pronouncing it correctly.
Oh God! Why he need to be this much fast??? Can't he just wait for me to repeat it? he thought making a pout.
Now it's time for the girl to come, so Panditji asked Geet's parents to bring her down.
While she came out of her room, Maan looked towards her and got mesmerized. She walked down the stairs like an angel.
She looked up only to get caught with his eyes. His heart beat rose fast but composed himself as she came near and sat beside him. Even Geet was nervous. Both did whatever the Panditji has asked to say or do and now it's time for Maan to tie the Mangalsutra. He took and tied it around her neck with a smile. All the rituals went well and finally both are married. They took blessings from the elders and was having a very great time.
Then the bidaai took place with lot of emotions as usual after which all moved to Maan's house.
The night around 11.30 when Maan entered the room with so much expectation and nervousness, but was welcomed by a sleeping beauty Geet.
He mentally scolded Annie for not letting him inside his room on time. 😡
he murmured to himself gritting his teeth,
Annie I am gonna cut your pocket money for doing this to me..
See!! now she slept off 😒
He sat beside her and started observing her face and felt some peace inside him like he got everything in this world. He smiled and laid beside her without disturbing her.
After about 3 or 4 hrs Geet woke up only to find Maan sleeping beside her like a innocent baby. She waited for him but tiredness overtook her that she don't even remember when she slept of. She laid back and closed her eyes thinking about her new beginning, a new life that is awaiting for them.
