Part 11:
Then Subbu laughed at some reply that Ishita gave. Raman's blood boiled in rage wondering what they were talking. He was quite curious to know what made her smile, what she commented that made Subbu laugh etc etc. In short he wanted to know the entire commentary of what was happening. He saw her bidding bye to Subbu and walking towards the parking lot. She had a sweet smile playing on her lips as she walked closer. He wanted to know the reason for that smile as well. Was it for Subbu? Or was it for him?
Curiousity killed him and he wished to know it all but he didn't know how to find out.

As they drove along, he stole glances at his own wife. He could see that she was thinking about something and had a sweet smile dancing on her lips throughout. He wondered why she was so happy.
"Kya baat hai...you look happy, huh?"
She silently gave him a smile as she ran her mind through her conversation with Subbu. Subbu had come for a consultation as a cavity in his teeth was giving him immense pain. He was the last patient for the day and as they walked out of her cabin, he offered a lift realizing that her car wasn't there. She declined politely saying, "Raman aa raha hai..."
Her smiles or perhaps her facial expressions had changed when she mentioned Raman, Subbu had noticed it and he smiled, "I am happy for you Ishu"
Ishita looked at him enquiringly when he explained, "jo maine kiya uss keliye main bohat guilty feel kartha tha...but now, I am relieved seeing you in such safe hands..."
Ishita just nodded and acknowledged his words while he went on with a naughty grin, "I am sure Raman is a great guy...He is quite capable too..."
She looked at him enquiringly while he added, "Making you fall in love isn't that easy na? Mujhe kitne saal lage teh tumse haan bhulwaane mein...ab dekho, thodi din mein hi...you have fallen flat for him!"
That came as a shocker for Ishita but she was in a fix situation where she couldn't refuse nor agree to what he said. Though a part of it was true, she couldn't openly acknowledge it too.
So she just smiled and he grinned when he said, "You are blushing so much Ishu...its all written in your face...Raman bohat lucky hai!"
Now she spoke up, "I am lucky Subbu"
Subbu could only say, "Be happy and keep smiling always Ishu"
They bid bye and she walked out. So all those smiles and conversation was about her Raavan Kumar but on the contrary Raman felt jealous thinking that its all for Subbu.
Ishita was continuously thinking about what Subbu said and wondered if she was so obvious. And if she was so obviously in love with her Raavan, then why the hell didn't her husband understand it? Then she remembered the day when he asked her if she was in love with him but then she refused to it. She smacked herself and also Raman mentally. Even if she said no, wasn't her yes obvious to him? Bevakoof Raavan Kumar!
Her wandering thoughts snapped when she felt his tap on her shoulders, "Oh hello Jhansi ki Rani kahaan koyi ho? I asked you something!"
Ishita enquired, "kya poocha aapne?"
He was really annoyed now. First she flirts with that stupid Subbu and now she hasn't heard what he said. He hid his irritation and replied, "Aaj kitna daanth ukaada?"
That cracked her up and she instantly wondered how he managed to swich her mood gears so spontaneously. Here she was blushing, smiling, and also a little angry on their mid way relationship and he says something so crazy to make her laugh so much. Perhaps, they were meant to be together. It was all destined and that's why Subbu left her life. Whatever happened was for this happiness to come into her life. First a daughter like Ruhi and yes with her came her papa but now he was becoming her husband in the right sense.
That thought only gave her more smiles and she smacked herself, "kitna farfetched thought hai Ishu...get a grip girl!"
Her silence annoyed him for the first time or rather, he had been always pretending to hate her lecture like talks but now he missed her talks.
Ishita could sense his growing irritation but she couldn't comprehend the reason because she didn't know that Raman saw Subbu and her talking.
She herself broke the silence, "patha hai kya? Aaj main Subbu se mili..."
He snapped her instantly, "mujhe kaise patha hoga? Tum mujhse kehke toh nahi gayi na?"
She rolled her eyes but even then couldn't sense his insecurity. So she replied casually, "He came for a consultation...plan karke nahi miley teh...isiliye nahi kaha"
He muttered, "Zaroor ussne plan kiya hoga...warna iss sheher mein dentists ki kami thodi na hai? saare experts ko chodke ek kids ke dentists se appointment...WOW!"
She looked at him amused by his inference and replied, "aap teek toh hai na?? kaise behke behke baatein kar rahe ho aap?"
He pushed away her hand which she brought forward to check if he had fever and replied, "Mujhe kuch nahi hua...main teek hoom...thevar toh tumaare bathle hua hai..."
"huh?" she looked at him enquiringly and he explained, "pehle pyar ka yaadein taaza karke bohat accha laga hoga na...isiliye itni khush ho...kabse bas muskuraa rahe ho"
Now it struck her what his actual problem was. She thought to herself, "toh yeh baat hai...jal raha hai Raavan Kumar..."
She cooked up a plan instantly as she felt that this was the right chance to make him jealous and eventually get him to confess to her. She spoke up dreamily, "haan pehla pyar humesha special hota hai...kitna bhi dukh diya ho, phir bhi yaadein toh humesha reh hi jaatha hai...bhoolna aasaan nahi hota...aap bhi kahaan Shagun ko bhool paaye?"
He had pulled up the car by then at the apartment complex. He had listened to all that without a word but just before getting out, he replies, "haan pehla pyar ko bhoolna aasaan nahi...lekin pehla pyar ka maayine bathalthi zaroor hai...khair, ghar aaagaya...uthro..."
She nodded wondering if she hurt him or had she gone overboard in her plan but he didn't stop for her. He walked away to the far end dialing some number. She assumed it to be some official call and walked into the building.
Meanwhile, he had called MIhir, "haan Mihir, plan is on...main bhi chal raha hoom..."
Mihir was surprised by that, "but bhai aap toh bhabi ke saath kahi jaane waale teh na?"
Raman replied back furiously, "jaane waala tha parr ab nahi...I am joining you guys...chal rakhta hoom...main tumhe seedhe club mein milunga..."
Mihir nodded and cut the call wondering what happened suddenly to his brother. Previously, Raman had excused himself out of the plan reasoning that he was going out for dinner with Ishita. Mihir shrugged it off and called up Romi, Neel and Bala to fix the party plan.
Raman walked back to the building mumbling to himself, ab main dikaata hoom madrasan ko...Raman Kumar Bhalla ko jalaane chali thi!"

It was around 8 in the night. The guys make false excuses at home and are bang on time at the club. Raman and Mihir make excuses about busy meetings at office while Bala cites his extra classes as the reason to Vandu.
All were dressed in casuals and looked hot and a younger version to their actual age.
They took the bar counter on their heads and gulped in the drinks without any second thoughts. A round goes by and all are in a dizzy mode already when Romi spots some girls and one of them really lures him.
Raman keeps warning, "Only seeing...no touching" but all others were totally intoxicated and forgot everything.
They start challenging each other about bringing that girl to the dance floor while the girl seems interested only in Raman.
As they get introduced and talk, the lights dim down and just focus on the dance floor.
Just a girl's frame is visible from where they sat. All eyes around were now focussing on the girl. The music rolls out...

As the girl starts swaying to the music, the guys around join the floor and dance around her. Every guy competes to dance and groove with her while she keeps switching from each guy.

Our famous five aren't any different. All their eyes except Raman's also focus on the dancer whose face wasn't clear to them. The song makes them sway as well. Now the guys change their bet.
Romi starts off, "bhai logon...uss Kajal ko chodo...aur usse pataake dikhao...dekho kaise saare ladkon ko nachaa rahi hai!"
All are game for it and Raman turns now to the dancer. He had almost won the challenge in the case of Kajol and now it was the dancer. He had to win this bet also. Aakir Raman Kumar Bhalla never loses a bet!
Pulling over his jacket and the hood over his head, he walks to the dance floor arrogantly. Suave, handsome and dashing...who could resist him for long or say no to him? Every girl in the club attempts to dance with him but his eyes keep following only his target!
