Point well taken, Vicky! But it is hard not to get fooled by the optical illusion! Rudra is fooled by it, and so is Myrah, and so am I! I miss Paro too much ... But your perspective on Myrah is, I think, the more grounded way to go!
Much love!
Sona.

Nice post.

Both Rudra and Myrah are leashing out at each other at the drop of a hat. Myrah unknowingly adding salt to his wound. Rudra trying so hard to remain intact and not crumble especially in front of his son.

I think if Rudra had asked Myrah to stay away from the haveli with a little more courtesy, Myrah would not have been that determined to move in with them. But because he showed anger and disrespect she is now all out to show him she is no push over. This was her "wait and watch" revenge.

Overall I'm liking the way RR 2.0 is going. Like Myrah's attitude and looks.

Looking forward to what Myrah's reaction will be when she learns about Rudra's wife.

To know that it is unfair to pull strings to get what she wants. To know that being clever is not a substitute for being classy.

All her epithets... Rude, arrogant, egotistic, for the moochad, pale before that terrified village girls panicked condemnation... Jallad!

Completely off topic, Vicky, did you know that in QH season 2, Sanam refers to Aahil as Jallad! 😆

Rudra is mortally wounded. He is ready to break down and cry. I like what he said to Danveer ... About not mistaking the sweetness of a girl like Myrah for the mamata that Paro would have had for her boy.

The balance that I could so easily find in Paro and Rudras opposing viewpoints? Missing with Myrah.
Realistically speaking... She is under no compunction to stay... There are other havelis in Udaipur that would be hatke as well. That raisson d etre is not there if we stand in her shoes. Whereas
Paro had nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

The old Rudra would, like you said in your last post, Vicky, have had Myrah on a plane back to the US by now, Aman Mehra be damned. The new Rudra is too broken. His mind cannot come to terms with a face like Paros talking like that to him. He has learnt to manao his son. He buys movie tickets... Movie tickets! He reasons with Sumer instead of punching him in the face.

I miss Paros courage. She tackled a far more dangerous Rudra with far less advantage, hanging off the cliff for weeks on end. I see bravado in Myrah. Yet to see bravery. Yet to see compassion.

But you know, I am an old crabby alpha female who never took nonsense from anyone, so all this "girl power" of talking back in that particular vein leaves me cold. Rudras attempt at intimidation is a ghost of what it once used to be, with its undercurrent of desperation, attraction, and protective instinct. Now its just a cornered cat attack. Every time he looks at her, the cruel knife of fate twists in his side and he bleeds out further.

But I am watching, and waiting for the bubbles to burst! Myrahs. Rudras. Dhruvs. And when the soap stops stinging, the new beginning will appear on the horizon.

Mythili tells a few home truths upcoming. Myrah looks shocked.

Iss jaam, TRP ke naam! 😕

I don't know what to say I just don't what to say. All I feel is guilt was I too hard on Paro yes I was. One thing is for sure I miss Paro seeing Myrah makes me remind of the saying you don't appreciate what you have until it is gone. Paro belonged with Rudra we knew that, Bholenaath knew that, writers knew that the whole universe knew that so when she forced her way into Rudra's life if I criticized the manner in which she did it mattered not because they are meant to be and she was claiming what was hers despite my initial reservation I cheered for her in the end. Myrah forcing her way into Rudra's life not done Rudra only belongs to his Paro. I just can't see her taking our Paro's place. Myrah really is fine I like her character I really do as a separate person she is crackers alright I am cheering for her with pompoms, she did nothing wrong today. Vicky is going to read this and want to bash my head but what can I do I just want Rudra and Paro back I can't reason myself to feel different so lump me into the bashers category too 😭.

Lovely post as usual Vicky-sa. Thank you.

Somehow I feel Rudra is more wrong. Understood he is in pain. But it is not Myrah's fault that she looks like Paro. If he had politely refused her wish to stay in the haveli, she would have backed off.
Rudra's constant insults is what she cannot tolerate and should not tolerate.

Myrah's behavior with the kids make me think she will be a really good mother. Rudra is right now been too judgmental and his degrading Myrah's character somehow I do not like.
