Justice would ahve been Pragya standing up to Abhi and telling him what he did was wrong and ensuring the person in quesiton was fully compensated. However, teh selfish Pragya did not care for justice; she was more bothered that her mother would find out about her sham of a marriage and pass out. Here's a solution Pragya, get your mother to a doctor and get her on some medicaitons. NO-ONE has a stroke etc upon hearing shocking information. Second, Pragya is even more selfish in that she is has expected that her sister sacrifice her love for her fake marriage. What does she think that Abhi is going to stay with her after the marriage? He has told her time and time again he plans to leave her. And when he does, how does she plan on explaining everything to her mother.
Ekta Kapoor teachers her viewers that it is better to stay in a bad marriage than to be independent and have some dignity. Pragya might not be hit or slapped but she daily endures emotional and verbal abuse from Abhi. I am not sure what the writers intend. I liked the character of Pragya in the beginning but this week her character was portrayed as horribly selfish when she showed no remorse for the poor guy who was nearly killed because of her husband's reckless driving. She begged Suresth to withdraw the complaint without a single thought of the poor man. Shame Shame Double Shame.

Justice is subjective in my opinion. I saw Pragya handing her jewelries as a compensation as a settlement not bribe. When Suresh went to that guy who was hit, instead of asking Abhi to apologize to him and bringing this case further, he demanded for cash. It's true that it's unfair that rich ones seems to escape from their mistake with money. But as long there are poor ones who are willing to be bought by money, then obviously there will be people who uses that as an advantage. Pragya is selfish, and I don't think it's her place to advise him. Who is she? He's mother? His own grandmother doesn't bother to give him 2 cents. And it's not like he's going to listen to her. It's not her fault, and I don't see why is she is the one who is being pressed to the right thing all the time. For once, I like that she puts herself first and wants to solve this problem. No, not for Abhi but for her family. Just like how that guy willing to drop charges in return of money for his family, instead of getting the justice right away. Suresh and Pragya aren't the kind of people who threaten or force someone to get things done. So, if the guy said no to the money and get his compensation in the right way, they couldn't have done anything. And he was the one who demanded for money.
What I don't get is that, this is not a civil case but criminal case. So, even if charges are dropped, Abhi will still get punished because they took test and there's scratch on his car. So, he'd still get punished (or Indian Law works in a different way, I'm not sure).
She told Purab and Bulbul many times to not go with this marriage idea. She never once asked them to this for her. She even accidentally blurted out that she's not the girl Purab is in love with it, when she was trying to tell Abhi to stop this marriage ( which he didn't listen and blew it off). What do you expect her to do? This is not her fault and she's not responsible for Purab and Aaliya's marriage and I don't think she deserved to be blamed for this. Purab and Bulbul should know better. They aren't small kids.
You are right about Pragya wanting to stick to this marriage when Abhi clearly wants an out from this. It is irrelevant and doesn't make sense to me as well. I don't think it's right for Pragya to keep lying to her mother. I don't see any point in this well. When Abhi kicks her out, her mom is going to get to know about this.
