Rashi knows how Gopi is ... How can rashi say gopi does not want tolu and molu to suceed ... gopi wants all the children to learn and do their homework...

It's because gopi hasn't told her straight why she's targeting her for housework, she assumes gopi has power and is taking advantage. Koki lit the fire and left gopi and rashi to sort it out among themselves but the misunderstand of what gopi is trying to get rashi to do is still there.
