Yes the Turkey trip is over.
The trip was essentially a tourism promotion campaign paid for in full by the Turk government (except maybe the regular prodcution costs and shopping). They were impressed by BTs mass following and hence invited them over.
Plus,kuddos to the creatives for successfully weaving Turkey into the story (and yet not leaving us with a foul taste)
