SOS did well cuz action lovers didn't bother with romantic bullshit jab tak hai joke. In this case Shahid neither has a physique nor he has charisma and the trailer looks meaningless even in the eyes of high intellectuals like me. So I cant see anyway people choosing this film over the masala of HR-Kat.

Made money because people like me who like SRK would see him onscreen in anything. Plus it was Yash Chopra's last film which he 'directed' and was dead by the time it released. So it made money...not because it was good , it is SRK's crappiest film and then some IMO.
