That is not the only reason. His 90s films are no clean hits too except, QSQT, Dil, Rangeela, Raja Hindustani. He was not a big draw at BO back then.

Btw if you're going to list roti kapda makaan as big B's blockbuster then you might as well have kuch kuch hota hai as Salman's. RKM is an out and out Manoj Kumar film supported by Shashi Kapoor. Bachchan is a special appearance at best.

So out of Bachchans 5 blockbusters, 2 are as supporting actor(Sholay & KKKG) and 1 is a special appearance. 😆
