Arjan Bajwa: Priyanka Chopra is hotter than Vidya Balan and Sonakshi Sinha

Speaking exclusively with Bollywoodlife Arjan Bajwa speaks about his role in Bobby Jasoos, his equation with co-stars Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra and much more.
You're playing a negative character in Bobby Jasoos. Tell us more about it.
My character is called Lala. He is from the old city of Hyderabad; a typical Muslim guy who lives by his own rules. He is also the local goon but at the same time is a hardcore romantic. Lala is at loggerheads with Vidya Balan's character. It's a very love and hate relationship between them.
Ali Fazal is playing the lead opposite Vidya Balan, while you're in a supporting role. Does that arouse any insecurity within you?
There is nothing exciting for me anymore to play the Mr Nice Guy. I have done that already in Fashion opposite a very big heroine Priyanka Chopra, same for Guru, Crook and Son Of Sardaar. So I want to break away from that image now. I think I am more versatile than just playing the nice guy. So yes, there is no point of insecurity, I have purposely chosen the role.
How was it working with Vidya Balan?
With Vidya it's been a good experience. She is a very down to earth person and I am not saying this just for words, she really is. Vidya gives you that adrenaline rush to perform better. We have a confrontational scene in the film where we are about to kinda hit each other; you know it had gone to that level.
Since you've worked with Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan, who amongst the three is your favorite co-star?
Everybody in their own way has rather been fantastic to work with but surely I look forward to working with Priyanka again. She is such a fantastic girl to work with.
Who from the three you think is the hottest?
Hottest I think will be Priyanka because of the way she carries herself. She has evolved into such a diva. The way her body language is or the way she has physically become so appealing.
Post Fashion have you been in touch with Madhur Bhandarkar or Priyanka?
Oh yes absolutely, nothing has changed since then. If Priyanka and I happen to be at one place and if she spots me first she screams my name and if I see her first I scream her name. So yes we meet and we hug each other. With Madhur Sir I always complain that he hasn't given me any work post Fashion. However he always said that post Fashion there hasn't been any role which suited me and well I agree with that.
You have been very secretive about your personal life. Are you dating anyone?
Yes, I am dating someone, but I don't believe in sharing my personal life with everybody. Why should I feed common people on things that I do in my private life? It's okay to be intrusive about an actor's life but this is something I purposely don't share.
If you had to take someone on a romantic date from the industry, who will it be and why?
(Laughs) Why one person I would like to take like five or six of them together. No but seriously I think Esha Gupta is very hot. She is not your conventional heroine, she is very differently appealing.
Are you following the FIFA matches?
I am, once in a while. My favorite team is Germany. They are very calm and composed and don't indulge in any kind of gimmickry on the field. They would play, score goals and go back home. Thomas Muller is my favorite.
Preity Zinta is going through a difficult phase. What do you have to say about her case?
I really don't know what the truth is. The law will take its own course but I think this is a very personal space. We should give her a break, whatever the issues are, let the truth come out and then we'll see. Preity and I did some advertisements together and she is a very nice person. From being an actor to becoming an entrepreneur, I think it really takes guts and lots of perseverance to be there.
So what's next post Bobby Jasoos?
I am working on three films. One is a romantic Punjabi film, the other one is a gangster flick with Baljit Singh Deo and for the third one Ill let you know once things finalise.
